Ohio State almost knocked off Texas while Oregon laid an egg against USC.
However, neither are going to get there, since Penn St. won the Big 10.
Ohio State, if they get into a BCS bowl, will most likely get something along the lines of Virginia Tech, but they won't get into a BCS bowl, since PSU won the Big 10.

Head to head gives Penn State then the tiebreaker...
But Ohio State is on top of the list for the at large bid...

You are correct, they are co-champs (take that Michigan), but however, Penn State is higher in the BCS rankings.
Whether or not OSU gets a BCS bowl is now dependent on the bowl selections.
Orange Bowl picks first, I think.

wow you dont have any clue as to what you are talking about do you, and no penn state didnt win the big ten, they tied with ohio state. How do you think notre dame is going to get in a bcs game? They arnt in a conference, but they will go to a bcs game. I hope you do realize their are these things called at large bids, and their are 2 of them, and they both will be taken by ohio state and notre dame. They will take ohio state over oregon every single day, and just to let you know they are in the fucking pac10, the only other teams are the usc, and ucla, and when they played usc they couldnt even put up a fight.
Edit: notre dame will go if they win.

You have an inferiority complex or something?
But yes, you are right, I didn't know what I was talking about at the time.
You don't have to turn everything into a full-fledged argument, you know.

ok, i was just making sure people know, becuase people never realize that they are both champs, all they see is that penn state gets the automatic bid, then they think they are champs, and i hate when they do that.

Notre Dame just might not win. :)
Edit: Barring any total fuck ups, ND has the score in their pocket.
Edit: There it is. Touchdown!
Still a minute left though.

I'd pick OSU and Oregon since they're the top two of those teams in the BCS ratings. Also they have the strongest arguments for inclusion, with UO's only loss to the defending champs and OSU's two losses by a combined 10 points to the #2 and #3 teams in the BCS standing. The BCS would go Notre Dame and OSU for the $$$$ factor. There fans travel better. I would like to see Oregon go because I think they are getting the shaft.

You know I love ya brother. I still think we will see ND/Penn State, but ND will have to play better then they did last night no matter who they play.

OK, prediction time. Just more for the BCS as a whole.
CU beats Texas in the Big 12 Championship.
UCLA beats USC that final week of the season.
Then, by flaw of BCS, Texas-USC is still the National Championship game.
This will be the beginning of the official downfall of the BCS.

I actually do think that either Texas or USC will lose. For the BCS to work, they have to pray to end up with 2 and old 2 undefeated teams. More often than not they get that, so I think this year their luck might run out.

I would lean toward UCLA getting the upset...
Colorado will give Texas a run for their money...
But UCLA is an actual good team...
I would seriously cry...If Texas ended the regular season as the only undefeated team...It would be the biggest injustice to the world of college football in history...

well even if 1 of them were to lose the bcs will still fuck it up, just like they did 2 years ago when oklahoma got the shit beat out of them by ksu, and they still went. The last time i saw the bcs work was when osu and miami went to the fiesta bowl.
