When I heard Toxicity and Aerials on the radio I thought they were good songs, but the song Cigaro got me into them the most.

Come Together - Beatles This basically set me off on my Beatles/John Lennon/Paul McCartney everything. I love this song very very very much

Darkside of the Moon - Pink Floyd - I know you asked for a single song, but the first time i honestly listened to Pink Floyd (though i was familiar with 'Another Brick in the Wall, Money, and a few of the other hits) was when I listened to this album in it's entirety

The End - The Doors - Father, Yes Son? I want to kill you. Mother, I want to.....

The whole Animals album for Pink Floyd. It was voted best album here on eBaum's and I decided to give it a look. Been addicted to PF ever since.

Don't laugh, but it was Stairway to Heaven for Led Zeppelin. I downloaded it to check out the backwards message, but never got around to it and ended up listening to it forwards. A short while and 7 albums later, I was addicted.

Yeah, I suppose.... they're just the bands that make up the core of my music collection, and that I would consider favourites. I'll listen to pretty much anything (although, as you might have guessed, rock music does it for me) and if I like it, I'll buy it (one of the benefits of being old and having a reasonably disposable income I suppose) I've got (estimated) around 700 CD's, and about the same again divided up between vinyl LP's & cassettes, although a lot of my CD's are copies of albums I've already got on vinyl like my UFO and Rush collections etc.

I got into Motörhead after hearing 'Born to Raise Hell' in the movie Airheads. They're still my favorite band of all time.
My friend played me 'Black History Month' by Death form Above 1979, amazing song. I'm starting to get into them, too.
