Sonics 5-8
they were a surprisingly good team last year but I think they are going to suck azz this year. It seems Seattle can never have anymore than one good team a year or sometimes no good teams a year.
Lost:
Jerome James

Celtics are eh, they have had some good games and some bad games. Like the game I went to Ricky Davis at the buzzer to win by 1, last game Pierce at the buzzer to win by 1. They came very close to beating the Pistons, they get a shot with 1 second left on the clock. But then Hamilton I think got a shot and won by 1.

WHat can I say about the Mavs other than they are surprising me. They just got blown out by Memphis, however, but they crushed the Spurs and Pistons. I'm feeling big things this year for my Mavs. I still think Dirk needs to shoot a little bit more, given that kobe averages about 10 more shots a game than Dirk does, but only averages about 5-6 more points a game.

Spurs are doing good. Michael Finley and Nick Van Exel were good pickups in my opinion.

Sixers fan right here. Not doing so well in the last week, but the Sixers take the win against the Blazers at home tonight 107-83. The "ballhog" Iverson has scored the following in the least 3 games: 45, 40, 38. Also had 8 rebounds tonight which is rare. I'd love to see the Sixers take the Atlantic and get a good playoff seed this year. It was unfortunate we had to play the Pistons in the first round and get out asses handed to us. As long as Philly stays in front of the Nets we could see the 76ers getting to the second round atleast.
I don't want to spam but you can check on the NBA site in my signature if you want to talk basketball.

How bout you take you and your shitty Ohio State BUckeyes elsewhere. I mean what kind of an association doesn't have a clear winner, but rather gives bowl games? It's fucking stupid.
Anyways, Dirk just shot 5-22 from the field yesterday. They're playing really shitty basketball and it's pissing me off so much that I actually sprained my hand from hitting things the wall too hard. If Dirk keeps this slump up, I'm gonna slit his throat.

So you are insulting me in the form of explaining how outrageous the BCS system is? I'm sorry, but I'm not all that offended, because I agree.

As I do every year, I follow a number of teams in the NBA. I like to see what the Spurs, Pistons, Jazz, Magic, Nets and Knicks are up to. The Cavs have a very nice team right now, but I don't think they are making it to the finals. They will have a tough time gettings past either the Pacers or Pistons, but not impossible. I see the Pistons making it to the finals once again from the east.
Knicks are were stinking up the joint in their first few games, but that is understandable considering they just got a new coach who doesn't know the players that well, its a young bunch who are also playing with each other for the first time. They have shown some bright spots, but I don't think they are a contender right now. They will win a few surprise games here and there, just on their hustle defense, but don't expect this team to go anywhere this year. This team is a couple years away from being contenders.
I'm also following the Jazz out west. They have a good team, just needs to stay healthy. Carlos Boozer and Kirilenko have both been injured this year and good portions of last year. They can't seem to stay healthy. If those two get healthy, along side Okur, they are a team that can do damage. We'll see if they get back on track and if Boozer will return any time soon.

Yeah, but their pretty sketchy. When they've lost this year, they've shot terrible. Although it's really early in the year, they don't have consistency right now. But seriously, Mavs vs. Cavs would be a great game.
The thing with the Mavs that amazes me is Dirk can shoot 5-22 from the field, but his team picks up the slack and they only lose by two. And that was thanks to Andrew Bogut-someone should seriously pop in the nose and just say it was an accident
However, Power Rankings would think different

Go Mavs

suns fan right here since my favorite player plays for them, marion i've likehim since i saw him grabing double digit rebounds as a small forward when he was a rookie. THey're playing suprisingly good without amare of late. Nash went something like 7/8 from the arch last night, insane...
Also a fan of the celtics and the wizards, both my hometeams, mvoe from MA to MD
ricky davis is having an amazing year, in a couple of years the celtics are going to be a force, with all jefferson on the rise and those other rookies.

Yea they will be a great team someday. You see this other guy Kedrick Perkins last night, 18 rebounds half were offensive rebounds.

Cavs are doing great this year. 10-4, going for 11-4 tonight against the clips. Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, and Larry Hughers were amazing aquisitions. I'd like it if Lebron drove more and abused defenders rather than settling for the jumpers alot of the time. Also LeBron's defensive skills are clearly way behind his offense. He often lets his man run by him making the big guys foul out covering for Lebron. Af far as the starters go, I'd love for Marshall to start over Gooden.
EDIT: Cavs should have beat the Sonics last night, LeBron's D lost the game, and Z gave us nothing.

I'm liking the Cavs, they're looking like a legit contender for the eastern conference finals.
Mavs easily beat Hornets tonight. Dirk finally ended his 31% from the field skid, and shot 10-17. SO excited, I'm going to the Bulls home game against Mavs and I got parking where the players park. I think i'm gonna go early and wait for Dirk, then bombard him with lots of Mavs gear to sign.
