Anyone here a fan of Yes.
Yes. I haven't heard a whole lot of their stuff, but as a bass player I love their stuff just for Chris Squier. Awesome band.

Big fan of them and Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, neither of which I ever see mentioned here. Good call.
Mood for a day is just Steve Howie.
I'm a fan of Tales from Topographic Oceans. That and basically everything Yes! I've got quite a few Yes CD's.

Yes is one of the few classic rock bands that I still listen to on a regular basis, along with Pink Floyd.

'Fragile' would have to be my favourite album by them, 'Heart Of The Sunrise' my favourite song...

Yes & ELP fan over here.
I mention ELP here a little, but I think that there are only about 4 people here that have actually heard of them.

I've heard them, but I prefer Genesis and King Crimson if we are talking similarly inclined prog bands of the time, early Crimson has the 'L' in ELP too on bass and vocals, which is nice...

Yeah, I'm into King Crimson also.
Can't say that I'm a hardcore fan of early Genesis - I have to be in the right mood to listen to them, and the wife doesn't want to hear it, so I don't listen to them that often.

I owned their first 10 albums (up to Drama), they were one of the first bands I ever listened to! Chris Squire is a beast, I also have his Fish Out of Water solo album. Great stuff.
And along with King Crimson and Pink Floyd, probably the only classic/prog rock bands I still listen to. I can't say I liked Genesis, but I think Peter Gabriel put out some amazing stuff by himself. BTW I just saw Sigur Ros a couple months ago.

Yes. They were a good band of their time. They slowly started to break off of my taste though, but that was long ago.
