Even though LeFromage there is a buckeye fan, at least he still plays his cards right by going with Duke. As a University of MD alumni I can't really let myself root for Duke, but for Vtech I will make an exception.

You can call me a fairweather fan if you'd like...But I've been rooting for these teams my entire life...And I live and die with every victory like this, or loss (god forbid)...

And there is a special feeling rooting for a team that everyone hates...

It's why Yankee fans are so damn arrogant, because they know their team is better than yours, and that you can't stand the fact that they are...

It's the same with Duke...

Notre Dame is probably the most widely hated team in NCAA football...

Miami had it's glory years, but all in all everyone recognizes Notre Dame as an evil juggernaut no matter what their record...

I'm a gator, but at the same time I'm a duke fan and root for them. Can't wait to see how the rest of Florida's season goes. Providence tonight should be fun to watch since Donovan was their poster child when they made it to the final 4 during his stay.

This is not directed at you LeFromage but I have notice a lot of Duke (and unc) fans here in North Carolina have no substantial reason for liking that school. Most moved here from somewhere less-awesome so they 'chose' to like Duke. Well they only do this because Duke is one of the top schools. I see no fun in pulling for a team solely because of their ranking.

Also Duke is not hated by everyone-far from it. They are 'hated' by the UNC bandwagoners that don't even understand and appreciate the rivalry for what it is. I would love to explain this to people but considering that the college I support (Wake Forest) is looked down upon by the ignorant bandwagoners they typically don't listen and just say "Wake Sucks". Screw them
