Just in on ESPN. Grady Little has accepted the job as the new Manager of the Dodgers...
Grady Little, fired by the Boston Red Sox two years ago after falling one win — and perhaps one pitching change — short of the World Series, has been chosen as manager of the Dodgers by general manager Ned Colletti.

The Padres are obviously the dominant team in this division. I don't think a new good manager for the Dodgers will change that at all.

Wait, am I missing something? Coming from a Red Sox fan, Grady Little was worse than Jimmy Williams. In fact, in my lifetime, only Kevin Kennedy has been worse. At least twice a game he would do something that would leave you scratching your head. Most of the time it was pinch running for Ortiz in the 7th, or putting in Damian Jackson in as a defensive replacement. Lest we forget game 7.

And the Padres dominated the west, right? I was kidding, on both aspects of my post.

A team can still dominate with a bad manager though...
Just look at the Braves...
I have never seen a manager that knew as little about the game of baseball as Bobby Cox, yet still wins...

Grady Little wasn't the best... A lot of stupid decisions.
