Are Bears gonna come through and beat the Steelers for a 9 game winning streak?! i'm actually really scared, Steelers are an all around good team. Our offense didn't do shit against Green Bay, we relied on field goals and big defensive plays. how will this work against steelers?

your offense didnt do shit against anybody...but the steelers are still banged up, so Ill take the bears, 2-0.

The Bears can't and won't score as long as Big Ben doesn't throw any interceptions. That's why I'm going to pick the Steelers.

This is a game I can see us winning, Bears have a solid d no doubt, but the Bears D matched with the Steelers O is just about the same as the Steelers D against the Bears O, it'll be close, maybe a 10-9, 9-6 game.
Steelers - 10
Bears - 6

This is going to be a 3-3 game going into overtime...
But in all seriousness, Chicago 10-3 in OT, simply because I believe in the Bears' defense, and I f'ing hate the Steelers, so I'm hoping for a fourth straight loss.
Don't let me down Chicago.

Agreed. Maybe not in OT. Then again, i didn't exactly call the Philly/Seahawks game very well.

if it was 3-3 going into overtime, then the final score couldn't be 10-3. Anywho, Bears will win in a low scoring game.

i think the steelers take this one. I think the steelers O matches up against the bears D better than the bears O vs the steelers D.

Bears win 21-3. Tillman and Brown return picks for TD's. Then a Steelers fumble deep in their own territory results in a 3 play 11 yard drive. That is how the Bears have done it all year.

You know whats funny is that we were the last team to beat the Bears.
I refer "we" because "we" Browns fans are all that matter in this forum
But in all seriousness the Steelers have to win out to make the playoffs.

And 2 losses to the Chiefs and 1 to the San Diego, which in all likely hood is very possible.

It is my beleif that the Bears will win this game. The Steelers O isn't all that great anymore. It'll be a close game anyway. Steelers lose-13-10

Well the Bears defense against the Steelers offense is equivilant to the Steelers defense against the Bears offense, if you want to think about it, it's pretty much even.
Because the Steelers..offense..is..A LOT better than the Bears.
Oh, and the Bears defense is better, but not A LOT...we are still ranked in the top 10 defenses.

The steelers Defense Is GROSSLY overrated. The only great player on that def is Porter. The steelers Offense isn't that great either. When Your Back has only 65ypg I think your in a spot of trouble. 119 passing ypg isnt all that stellar either...

i look at steelers as above average in most aspects, pretty much an all around team. If this was in soldier stadium , i'd definately go with Bears without thinking to hard, but going to pittsburgh worries me, although the weather will be pretty similar.

Are you fucking nuts? If anyone is "grossly overrated" it's Joey Porter, I realize that maybe thats the only person you know on the defense, but if you watch football you'd realize Porter isnt as great as what he used to be. He's on the downfall to the extreme.
Obviously you dont know much about comparing stats. The Steelers average 123 yards rushing every game, because they have 3 QUALITY RUNNING BACKS you used douche. It doesnt matter how many ypg 1 running back has on the Steelers this year...but since you dont know thing one about this sport, I understand your situation.
And where the hell do you come off with 119 passing ypg?
You may want to do some research before entering an argument discussion.
You want great players on our D? How about Troy Polamalu, Aaron Smith, James Harrison, James Farrior, Ike Taylor...suck on the big one, faggot.

I'm a huge Pittsbugh fan for both hockey and football. And Pittsburgh, is doomed for all sports :(. In the NHL we've been sucking for awhile now, and might even move to a new city, and after the steelers comming so close to the Super Bowl, I think, r done for awhile. Bad chances for the playoffs this year, and its only gonna get worse :( . It's scary enough to think the Bears will injure Rothilisberger and then yeah, we're fucked.

Ben will be fine, he wont throw the ball 30 times I can guarentee it. We're going to be throwing short little passes because we wont be able to throw the long ball against the Bears for 2 reasons, 1. Bens thumb, 2. The Bears will intercept it, bring back to the house, and humiliate us on our own turf..
We're going to pound the ball Sunday, although thats also difficult against the Bears, it'll be a better solution....we need to see more of Staley though.

Hard to tell, Orton is bound to have a bad game while Ben is nursing an injured thumb, depends on how much certain things are worth.
If sacks get a lot of points, take Chicago, if INT's get a lot of points, take Pittsburgh.

They haven't broken 100 yards combined in the last 3 games, and now they play the best defense in the country.
suck on the big one, faggot.
I though this type of crap was against the rules. I should expect no better from a Pittsburgh fan. Are you absolutely sure you aren't an Eagles fan in disguise.

Alex Brown will knock Big Ben out in the 1st half. If they keep hitting the QB like they have the past few weeks, and Ben lands on his thumb, then it's Tommy Maddox vs. The Bears D.:ohnoes:

I agree with you they have a pretty good running game, but its not because of the backs. You have to admit willie parker goes down like a high school back in the nfl, he is very fast and has good moves but if he gets hit after gaining 2 yards dont expect more. And bettis has been sucking too, as you know, staley averages like 4.3 so hes the only one getting it done. And their defence isnt that good this year, its been ranked 9-10 every week since week 6. The people you named on their defence were mostly all linebackers or linemen, i agree with you they stop run good. But they cant stop the pass that good, polamalu isnt even that good at it hes mostly good because of his interceptions which he wont have every game. My opinion hes overrated.

So their good at stopping runs? Bears actually have pretty decent running abilities but their passing game is about the worst in the league. i wish our starting qb would heal already, he's been out all season.

You cant be overrated when your one of the best. He does more than intercept passes. Most safeties in the league use 1 or 2 spots in the field because thats what safeties do. Polamalu is EVERYWHERE in the field because he's good at every position they put him in. Not only that, he's one of the fastest safeties in the league, ever seen the dude run? He'll be across the field and run all the way over and flatten a guy. Oh yeah, he's also one of the best hitters in the league as well. Polamalu ranks in the top 3 in everything you want in a safety, thats why he's one of the best.

me being a lifelong bears fan, ive seen the bears do very well, and very bad. i just saw there was a thread about this game coming up so i figure i would put in my 2 cents. im pretty sure the bears can pull the win off sunday if they played just like they played the last 8 games. noone thought we could beat the carolina panthers and then we proved them wrong, thats why i believe the bears have some commentators really thinking about the game. i saw that the game is gonna be a very low scoring game, final score of 10-7 bears win.

The difference is that people believe they can beat the Steelers, dont try and act like the Bears are the severe underdogs in this game, because they definitely are not.

Mike Brown is out for Sunday vs the Steelers, and chris harris the other safety, makes you wonder if ben can take advantage of 2 backup safeties, though the secondary still is solid with tillman and vasher.
Well bob, i gotta go with a certain coach from a certain town that starts with a c and ends with an o. i say bears and ditka 245 to cero. or in real life 16-12. Bears.

i called that one all the way in my betting pool. Tampa has almost an identical defense as the Bears which almost shut panthers out cold. infact the bear's coach lovie smith, comes from tampa himself.
