I'm watching the news right now and it's showing the Christmas Lights video on it! The first one that was posted. So did they get the video from Ebaums or was it posted on another site besides Ebaums.

Oh i see. Just finished watching it on the news. Says the guy does it every year and people all over america come to watch it. Said he had over 25 thousand christmas lights on his house lol. And they said his next one will be a frosty the snowman song.

I saw on the news that the police made him take it down because it caused a lot of traffic problems and they couldn't get to an accident because of it.

That video was awesome! The amount of effort the homeowner put into that is truly remarkable.

How would there be traffic problems? His house is in a residential area. If some douchebag slams his car into a lamp post because he was mesmerized by the lights display, that's his problem. Unless the homeowner had laser beams shooting at people walking by, or a crystal meth lab in his basement, then the police would have no problem with him. If you saw this on the news, people are more likely to believe you if you provide some form of proof.

I think I know where that guy is... I remember hearing about it a few years ago, the homeowners association banned him from putting up the lights for a while because the traffic was that bad. People would line up the streets for hours just to see it... I think it's in Hillsborugh CA... (think of it as a less known high wealth area, Bing Crosby lived there, many celebrities shopped there, a freakin huge mansion is there, as well as Many other "above average" mansions. The wealthy people that live there park their Ferrari's and lamborghini'soutside year round, makes you wonder what's in the garage.) Actually, that light show in the video seems to be less substantial than the ones I remember seeing in pictures. Though, it's entirely possible I'm thinking of the wrong person, so... oh well. Awsome stuff!

yeah the first one is awesome the second one has a weird song but the fact the houses lights matches the song makes it kick ass

There is a famous spot in southern california called Candycane Lane that is a few entire blocks of houses lit up with crazy decorations, it's a very rich neighborhood. This year I helped one of the houses put up some of their lights. The house I worked on has roughly 40,000 lights. One of the houses down the street does the best job every year, that house has probably 60 or 70,000 lights. I mean the ENTIRE 2 story HUGE ASS HOUSE is lit up, just about every INCH, and the entire front lawn and trees have lights all up and down in these beautiful patterns, but it doesn't have music like that one house in the video. In visuals, the house I'm talking about owns.

they got it from other sorces. true it says "ebaumsworld.com" on the video..but thats just letting you know that your watching it on ebaumsworld, not that it is origonally from ebaumsworld.

i saw this vid posted on the forum at least 7 times and im sure plenty of other people other then u sent this in so i doubt u were the first.


the first site i ever saw this on was www.i-am-bored.com
