You need the new windows media player, do you have it? You can download it on microsofts website if you don't. www.microsoft.com

That happened to me once after I uninstalled Age of the Empires III, I have no idea why, but then after some time it just reappeared, so I'm not really sure. Maybe you can uninstall WMP 10 and see if that helps.
Edit: Does it do the same in IE?

nope, it works fine in internet exploere. i guess ill just use IE but firefox is just soo much better. and yea i mite try to uninstall it and re install it.
thanks
Ok, wait, I might be able to help. Open up FireFox, go to Tools, and then Options, and go to Downloads. Now on Download Actions, click that, then go all the way down to WMV, and hit 'Change Action'. Click on 'Open with this Application' It's the second one down, and browse for Windows Media Player 10. That should fix your problem. Let me know what happens.

thanks a lot
edit- dang it. i can only get the audio to work. ill fool around a little more and try to see whats wrong
edit again- i got an idea, maybe i have to go to the mozilla site and download a plug-in for the windows media player??? it was doing this same thing on my other computer and we never found out what was wrong. im gonna go look for a plug-in.
Try to enable all video formats, Enable everything ASX and under, those are most of the video formats that I have enabled for windows media player.
