As Berman would say "Oh my Gado."
His halftime show was beastly, because of one comment. "The bus wore snow tires today." Fuck yes.

141 on 19 runs. I bet you the packers will be real good next year.

Samkon Gado is a fucking monster. Once that bulk gets going, there's no stopping it. Too bad my Packers are sucking it up this season.

yeah, but we want them to keep losing this year. better draft pick :)
the pack need to help the offensive line in the offseason. and next year, when everyone's healthy, they're gonna go back to the top of the NFC north

well no doubt it was a HUGE game and i would love to see Gado do it more, but this is his first major game, i think he still needs time and wont stat over green if green is healthy, well not yet atleats. Anyone see that Moats guy from Philly? He had 114 yeards on only 11 carries yestrday, and he looks fast as hell on tape. everyone in the NFL looks fast, but this guy is like really low to the ground and just zips by the defense. Gado and Moats are gonna be good if thats how they really run week to week!

im interested in what happens to Gado at the end of the season, with green coming back he will only be a backup again but has shown recently that he might be a useful back. Does anyone else smell TRADE? i think the vikings could use someone like him cause all the backs we have are rubbish.

In all honesty, I believe that this is the kind of performance that Green would be putting up now that the O-line is finally playing better, but I have to admit, he was pretty good.

12-12-2005, 06:47 PM
If he can do this on a consistent basis then he will be a major power in the league, however he has yet to do that. I am still a little skeptical, but hopefully he will become that great back. It would make for one hell of a story. Him being in the NFL is surprising enough really.
piggyman18
12-12-2005, 08:59 PM
I think the coolest part of the whole story is that the only reason he's in the NFL is to get money to go to medical school. He is a fucking beast.

He's been playing really well and hopefully he continues it. If he doesn't fumble, I would love for him to be the starter next year.

not to burst you packer fans bubbles but the lions defence against the rush is 25th any player can have a big day against them...but he did do good, Green will keep the starting spot
After seeing Gado run, I dont think Favre is quite ready to retire lol... Get his receivers back along with Gado AND Green. Quite an offense it will be

thier line is the worst part of their offense now...it needs quite a lot of work on it i think, also thier offensive play calling has been pretty poor this year. i suggest a new O. coordinater
wsuwarrior
12-14-2005, 04:30 PM
our O coordinator is worthless...last year he had a heart attack and didnt coach for a couple weeks...surprise surprise, we went on a 6 game win streak while he was gone. Hes only there because hes friends with Sherman. Get a new OC and we will improve...and he can keep Sherman i think hes a good coach.

that was a sign held by a packers fan hes a good rb with a fb body that can trample you, kinda like alstott

Yea. Farve still has a gun for an arm. May have to re-learn not to throw bone-head passes that result in Ints, though.
Then throw in their current Win-Loss record. Where would they end up in the next draft? If anything, the losing season they have this year could be a blessing in disguise.

Should have a Top 5 pick....Im thinkin we will take one of the many stud linebackers out there, or hopefully a safety that can step into a starting role immediately.
MalYoung
12-17-2005, 03:28 PM
I think that the Packers are going to have the fourth pick, and they need some decent Linebackers. Barnett is actually one of the games best Linebackers, but he can't do it all by himself.
wsuwarrior
12-17-2005, 06:26 PM
Barnetts pretty good yea...possibly one of the most underrated players in the league at his position. Robert Thomas has also been pretty impressive on the GB defense...but if we find the third piece of the puzzle, this defense will be scary to face.

yep, barnett is one of my favourite young players, he is very talented and even as a rookie he stepped up to become the playmaker on that defense. they need better linemen too in my opinion if they want to improve, but the defence is deffinatly thier weakest point.

the packers have a horrible defense no where near winning the division
there Offense is kinda sucky too
Frymaster
12-18-2005, 07:15 PM
I seriously think they need to get rid of Green. He's a decent back, sure, but...when he was out last year Davenport had a couple of monster games, so him and Gado could split carries or something like that..idk, I just think they can trade Green and get something decent in return.

ACTUALLY the Packers have the #1 rated pass defense, and a top 10 defense overall...stupid.
Their offense is missing four Pro-Bowlers, two to injury, and two to free agency. Hasnt this topic been beaten to death?

You can say is missing when they released them, they arent on the team anymore..

No way. Ahman is much better than the two. If he was running with this line we have now, he'd be doing better than Gado.
Ahman is much better than the two.
Yea. He can rack up the numbers - but - he's fumble prone and (worse) injury prone.
I have Gado on my Fan. Team so he better do well tomorrow.

Haha, I was about to quote you and say you're a dumbass when I saw the white text. Dolphins need a little help to make it this year. Good luck to your team.

dolphins confuse me...they are one of the most inconsistent teams out there...whenever i pick them to lose, they play the game of the season and win. Whenever i pick them to win, they find all new ways of losing games...:banghead:

Injury prone. A pro-bowler who can't play isn't really worth much at the time.

Davenport is a good running back...he was actually a fullback and got the start for the running back position when green got injured, davenports first start was against the saints that game, he scored 2 td's and 54 yards on 12 attempts..that is decent stats for getting injured and not playing some of the game...and also dont forget the games before his start the packers hadnt scored a rushing td.....he is not super good but he is better than a average running back

i agree with Nick isnt Cool, the fact that you released two players is not an excuse for failure...thats like me saying that its ok for the vikings to do bad cause we traded randy moss, it doesnt make sense. the point of trading is to improve your team or to make the salary cap (which applies to everyone).

packers are gonna be badass next year.
i say we trade green for a good lineman, draft a linebacker, and pick up some other lineman in the offseason to flesh the team out
of course, if favre retires, it'll be a little rough at first. rodgers has good potential, though

your making it look like the fact that you lost two players to free agency is an excuse to fail...like i said before, if they got rid of them for the salary cap then that is no excuse because it applies to everyone, if it was for money for a new signing then it is clearly a mistake by the management. I think maybe you are confusing the meanings of "excuse" and "reason". One REASON why they are failing is because they released two linemen. But it is not an EXCUSE for the team to be doing so badly.
[EDIT]...and for the poster above me, one rookie linebacker is not suddenly going to turn the packers into a solid defensive team, they need at least one new Deffensive end, one CB to play with Harris and thier safeties aren't what i would call "decent" PLUS the linebacker you mentioned (and maybe even another linebacker).

i should have just looked at your location before i bothered posting. then i would have realised that you would be too stupid to understand the basic concepts of rational thought and words...although i think, even the majority of YOUR fellow countrymen would be embarassed to be associated with one as slow in thought as you.

aj hawk is a stud linebacker from ohio state. Hes a beast, but his size hurts him a little bit...great player though, he will be one of the top defensive players taken in the draft.
ps..your insults are weak.
sucks that he is done for the season... IMO he should get the Offensive Rookie of the year... He pulled off so many yards and points with about a quarter season.
Cant beleive he got injured too... Packers must have angered the football gods
I think Favre will stick around another year. He can definitely still play, his stats suck but thats just stats.

Offensive Rookie of the year
That means for the Year/Season. Not a quarter of a season on a losing team.

The only rookie i would put over gado would be cadillac williams..and he didnt play a full season either. Maybe ronnie brown, but he didnt do anything spectacular..and guess what, hes injured too! There arent any other offensive candidates for ROY in my opinion.
