Ha, I have no idea where it came from, but my coworker used to sing that all the time at work ... I think he was strangely related to the Burger King guy.

Haha. It reminds me of Home Alone coz it's the song [obviously not the same words] when Maculey(?) runs home to catch the burglars lol.

I think it's based on a real burger king call.

It's "Carol of the Bells". Same tune as the original, but with a fancy arrangement.

The music used in the remix is carol of the bells, but it is the "mannheim steamroller" version. I think all of their christmas songs are like that.

I was dissapointed with the remix, personally. The song was done well, but the flash animation had almost no effort put into it.

I would have synched the guy's mouth to the words, added a second guy when he's singing in chorus, and added a third midget verison of him when the really high pitched copy of his voice comes into the chorus at the end. I'd also have had the burger king poke his head out a few times and maybe do something amusing with the guy.

It's just not good enough to have the guy standing there with his mouth flapping out of time with the words, and a couple realtively static pictures of apple pie. I hope someone redoes this with the same song, because I'd like to see a well done remix of this.

The first time it was ever given to the public was through the cartoon spaceghost, and Brak (the tiki dood) sang the song. If you havn't noticed the voice is the same!

I think it was Stephan Lynch...at least that is what Lime Wire says.

I used to know the group that did the song, they're also in the Phredryk Phox video when he's lip syncing to that song where they say "If you fall in the water, you're in trouble". But the picture is from a news article where a retarded man was working at burger king and how great he was some shit like that. Thats all I know about it

After years of searching and asking for the info about the creator of this song (and telling each and every person that wrote to me about this song that I did not create it, but would LOVE to know who did..not just for my own curiosity, but also to give credit where credit is due,) the day has finally come; I received an email today from a person claiming to be the genius behind Ding Fries Are Done. I have absolutely no way of knowing if he is who he says he is, but since he gave a lot of detailed information, most of which I have been able to verify (to wit: that it's registered with BMI, was aired on Dr. Demento, and was on an album called "A Very Spastic Christmas",) I'm relatively certain that it's true and he absolutely deserves recognition for this. If you know this information to be false, please let me know and I will update this page with the correct info. Until I hear differently, your awe and giggles should be sent to *drum roll please* Mr. Brent Calvin. I'm not going to post his email address, as a) he didn't ask me to and b) it appears to be an office/work email and I'm quite sure he would rather not receive a gajillion emails there. He also didn't provide a website address, so --unfortunately-- I cannot direct you to him or his site, if he even has one. At any rate, the mystery finally appears to be over and the God of Ding has been revealed. All Hail Brent Calvin!

It's not the Manheim steamroller version. It's something like.. Metallica Siberian Orchestra or something, thats what google says anyway
