Does any one think Lebron will be as succesful as Jordan?

No. Not yet.

Lebron has been overhyped. In fact, I haven't heard much about Lebron this year.

Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever. Lebron is good, but if right now at this moment, him and jordan would do a match, jordan will win no doubt.

jordan will win no doubt.

Even when he will be 60.

Jordan always had an aura about him that LeBron does not have yet. It may just be that Jordan had a few years to become an All-Star, while everyone expected LeBron to be the greatest ever in his first year. LeBron will probably be more like Kobe, a great basketball player, but not Jordan.

No as of right now it looks like he will not be as good as Jordan. Maybe he will get better in his lifetime, but who knows.

Yup. Jordan left a huge void such that the NBA is desperate to find someone to fill in that spot.

The NBA turned into a thug sport anyways.

Jordan was not only a great player, but he made everyone around them better. Lebron is a great player, but his team feels as if they only have to rely on him. Luc Longley, Ron Harper, Toni Kukoc, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr. All these people had amazing years playing with Jordan, and when they didn't play with Jordan, they were mediocre at best.
Tell you the truth, I can't name 3 people on the Cavaliers that Lebron has made better.

I think hes just going to end up like another AI, or kobe bryant. They are just good at scoring. What people never like to talk about in this comparassion, is that Jordan could play defense, and was defensive player of the year more then once. Until James plays defense hes not going to be anything like jordan. People always call me stupid when i say this, but if anyone is to be the next jordan i think it will be dwyane wade. He scores, gets people the ball, and plays D. And i hate the heat too, but i think hes going to be very good.

That's exactly what I was going to say. If the NBA was one-on-one, Lebron would be one of the greatest ever. But teams have five players, and I haven't yet seen the Cavs meld into a team. But then this year they look pretty damn good, so maybe their time is now.

How will I know if they're gay if I don't read them?

as each day passes, the nba becomes harder to play in, its just the natural way the game evolves

defence changes, offence changes. its not a matter of whether lebron will be as succesfull as jordan, its a matter of whether lebron will leave as big as a mark. and my answer to that is yes

Hell no. It'll be hard to find someone as good as Jordan.

I miss him on the Bulls :(.

I don't think Lebron is even the best one-on-one player in the NBA. He is just very well-rounded although definitely not up to par with Jordan. If you want one-on-one, look at people like Kobe, AI, and Dwayne. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see Lebron as that great of player.

the thing everyone forgets about lebrons is his age, he's a 20 year oldkobe wasn't this good when he was 20, and unless im mistaken jordan was still in college. I will say that lebron will leave as big a mark on the NBA as jordan did in time, i mean if u look at it, they came into the league the same way, jordan wasn't a very good three point shooter, he was mostly a penetrate and score kinda guy, and that part of his game improved, and so did his outside shot. Lebron wasn't a very good outside shooter when he entered the game, but that part of his game is evloving, very rapidly i may add.

so unless lebron sustains a serious seriosu injury i beleive he will leave as big a mark as jordan, but unless he gets some new teammates that don't suck, i doubt he'll get 6 rings

navid

ill make a statement saying he will not earn a nba ring until he is atleast 25

When will you people realize this. Jordan was not only 1 of the best offensive players, but he was also 1 of the best defensive players. Which is something lebron james will never be.

AC/DC Rocks!!!!

over here in australia we have a game called football (aussie rules) there was once this player named gary ablett who was similar to jordan he was the greatest even if you hated the bulls or geelong (in abletts case) you go to watch the player people do that with lebron dut everyone did it with ablett or jordan i dont think lebron can hold a candle to jordan because he is simply the best, better than all therest, ect. jordan never had the hype as lebron i thinks thats why people compare the two

What people are forgetting is, LeBron is only 20 years old. His best years are still ahead of him. He will never be as good as Jordan all-around, but he will be considered a top 10 player of all time by the time he's finished.

C EVIL KILL IT
12-18-2005, 12:10 PM
Why even make this comparison?

WHY?

Lebron is only 20 and he will get better. I think this kid will play D tougher as he ages. When I listen to him, he sounds like someone that is willing to work harder and learn something.

Kobe and A.I. (for example) are sick, but they can also make you SICK. They do not make other players around them better either.......ask Shaq.

Have you been living in a FUCKING CAVE? 31, 5, and 5. Leading all vote getters for all stars besides Yao (chinese votes) Bringing the cavs to a 14-9 record?

Jordan Career: 30 pts, 5 asst, 6 boards
LeBron 06-06 season:31 pts, 5 asst, 6 boards

I see some simmilarities

EDIT: good point evil, LeBron's defense blows ass.

No, go fill out an all star ballot, there are about 50 different language choices, so I'm assuming it's alot of countries.
