Um, actually they're one of the smartest animals in the world :squint: Just because something doesn't know what a machine is doesn't mean it's stupid. Really, humans are the only ones who do know that difference. It's not that crows are stupid, humans just have a really really high cognitive capacity (unfortunately, not many people use up much of that capacity nowadays). I don't mean to start an argument, just sticking my neck out for a remarkably bright creature. I'll try to wrap this up, but one of the cool things that crows and ravens do is, in urban settings, they'll learn to fly up onto a traffic light wire with a walnut that they can't crack on their own, then drop it on the street and wait for a car to crush it. They also learn that a certain light makes the traffic stop, and use that chance to fly down, eat the meat of the nut, and fly off with a full tummy :) Much smarter than your average bird :p
