Any fans of RHCP will be glad to hear this. They're back, and according to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hot_Chili_Peppers), they're going back to their original funk-rock sound. I can't wait!
Here's a quote:

"In 2005, they completed their ninth studio album, Stadium Arcadium, which is to be a double album revisiting their funk, punk, psychedelic, and metal roots in turn producing some of the hardest material they ever released. Some songs, such as "21st Century", "Ready Made", "Desecration Smile", "Dani California" (which was confirmed to be the very first single), "Charlie", amongst others have been confirmed to be on the album and some were performed live in concerts in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and New York. The album is to be released in April 2006 with a world tour being launched the following month."

Shit, you're back too? Fuck you're stupid. They're going back to their original style, that means it's NOT gonna be like Californication, which wasn't that bad anyway, just different.

You are never too old for socks on cocks.

I loved the RHCP when I was a kid. I remember listening to Uplift Mofo over and over again on the school bus when I was in middle school. I really hated anything after Mother's Milk, it just sounded too pop and produced, still good music though. I will definitely check this new album out.

I'm always interested with the release of another "Chili Peppers" album, especially one that revisits their mid 80's funk/punk roots.

Yeah, although I wasn't a big fan of By The Way, I don't bash them either. When you're in a band for that long it's expected that you try new stuff. Their last 2 albums were good in their own way, just different from their style that I like. I did like some stuff on Californication though, and I can't fuckin wait to see what they'll sound like this time. I know this though: It's about fuckin time that Flea started slappin again.

Slappin'? What do you mean? Jacking off or something?

Flea is the bassist. Slap bass is a technique. Flea is well known for his god-like bass-slapping abilities :)

lol @ your arguement tbh.

You're trying to say the Chili's suck when they are one of the most favoured bands in the world, and you're trying to prove this by saying Frusciante had an addiction? Actually, while he was in rehab they had another guitarist (Dave Navarro) so they were never actually incomplete.

Just leave...

Shut up borg you don't know shit about music, so get the fuck out. Go suck a giant cock for all I care. I mean if you don't like them than shut the hell up.

I'm also gld that they are making a new album, I hope it's like their older stuff.

& lol at your peanut sized brain.. kiedis has also had infrequent heroin addiction problems, most well documented on their most famous song, under the bridge. catch up.

The Chili Peppers gained my respect when they covered a few Hendrix tunes and didn't slaughter them, like most modern bands do to older music.

Not to mention there unique style. I mean, let's face it, the guy can't actually sing, but neither can Dylan, so it's all good.

Are you implying that drugs have a negative effect on music? Or that because musicians do drugs, they should be discredited? If so, then the fact is, you don't know shit. However, I doubt you're stupid enough to discredit a musician for their drug use, at least I hope so.
