Yeah, I saw it in the stores, so I thought, "cool" so I downloaded it off the internet :)

What do you all think of it?

I like it, it's all about war stuff, depressing... I'm going into the military in a few years. I don't wanna be told I'm not going to come back lol...

Omg another thread about Soad .... Its getting anoying after awhile.
Anyways Hypnotize is great , just to warn you that you shouldnt listen to Vicinity of Obscenity too much cause eventually you will get tired of it.

Join the military and SOAD will be against you. lol.

They play great & amazing music, lyrics of the band is what bothers me. Ditch the liberals point of views mixing in music and go independent, it's so a trend from the 90s & 60s being political.

Hypnotize was the best CD they ever released. BTW, they are the Worlds ugliest band.

I think they let their political views get too invloved with their music which ruined their music. Their first 2 CDs I thought were good and steal this album was alright but after that they suck so bad it hurts to listen to them.

Their first two albums were the most politically charged, so you're point is moot.

Hypnotize had less "crazy songs" in it, compared to Mezmerize but I think that they both kick ass! Dreaming is my favorite song on that album

Yeah, I have to agree, Daron's voice is annoying at time..but meh, SOAD is still a good band in my opinion. I don't care if their political, most bands these days are. People are like "I HAT PLOTIKAL SUNGZ ND BANZ LIKE SOAD! *goez nd listenz 2 green day*" -.-;

I used to like SOAD when their music had a clear point (soad, Tox., STA). That was all about the Armenian Genocide. That is being compensated for now, so they have no real issues now...

I don't see the attraction of them. I find them more annoying than anything and all their shit sounds the same.

I completely agree. System of a Down is terrible. I'll never know why they are popular. I also dont know why Modest Mouse is popular.

Good bands get popular because they a good.

I use think alot the other way around. But Yeah sure, there a good bands that haven't been noticed yet by MTV and others. But most main stream bands are pretty damn good. If, popular bands sucked, it wouldn't make any sence, now would it?
