Well See, I Wanna Learn How To Play The Guitar. I Wanted To Know How Much Does A Used (good) Guitar Cost? Also, I Wanted To Know How Much To Guitar Lessons Cost. I'm Into Punk And Emo Music So I Don't Wanna Learn No Classical And Counrty Sh*t. Please Help Me With This Dilema So I Can Know How Much I'll Be Spending. Most Of You Seem 2 Already Play Guitar Or Know A Hellova Lot More Than I Do. Thanks Xoxoxoxo

I have had many guitar students with your attitude. They don't last long.

My advice to you, if you want to learn guitar, you'd better start listening to guitar music and diversify your influences. You don't need lessons to learn how to play punk and emo.

Go to musiciansfriend.com and start looking at prices for starter packs.

Aspirations to learn to play emo on the guitar? I'm just gonna ignore that and try and help ya out.

For a good beginner guitar, it doesn't get musch better than a Fender Squier. I got mine used in awesome condition for like $120. New it's like $160. Sure it cuts corners in the construction and hardware but for the price it's hard to beat.

For an amp, you really just need to go try some out. And since you're just learning I wouldn't bother with a tube amp.......unless your loaded.

GL at learning and here's my hopes that you find a better genre than emo.

Punk and Emo guitaring require no skill.
Ask a friend how to play a powerchord, and come up with random progressions in your head.
You can learn how to play punk/emo in less than 10 minutes.
