Firefox question...

Just installed it and when I go to type in a link or whatever I get a message saying

Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.ebaumsworld.com.
Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Obvoiusly, or I wouldn't have made that post.

I thought it was some manual setup deal that I had to do.

go to options, then connection settings and set it to whatever browser your using now settings.

It might be a firewall. Do you have Zone Alarm or any other third party Firewall?

You probably have to "Allow" certain sites and "Allow" Firefox as an approved browser....Just my 2 cents...

Personally, and I might get flamed for this, I'd turn off the Firewall feature alltogether...Leave on live virus scanner etc...but those type of firewalls, zonealarm, norton etc...tend to just be a pain in the ass IMO.
