If you have the capability to make to users on one computer, then you should be ok. If not I dont know.

im not sure if it works with the minis but it should be fine. The problems come when you both want different music

yup...me and my bro both got ipods..easiest way is to just make 2 users for your computer like what was said. i am guessing that you don't both want the same music on your ipods..you want two different libraries. there is another way, but it is confusing to me. try http://forums.ilounge.com/ if u need more help.

This program allows you to have seperate iTunes libraries, and it works great. You merely have to switch between them via the program whenever you want to change libraries.

What are you talking about? The iPod software on the cd that comes with the iPod? If so, you don't need to install that twice; that's just the software you need to install in order for the computer to recognize the iPod. You're not installing the iPod, you're installing some software. Thinking that you need to install it twice for two iPods is like thinking you need to install two OS's for two seperate programs; it just doesn't make sense.

Turn off the auto-update or whatever it does when you connect the iPod. Allow drag and drop. Now you can both pull from the same library and built different libraries on each iPod.

I just got it working. I downloaded a new version of iTunes and then the new iPod started working. Thanks for the help. :)
