Well out of all the Jim Carrey soundboards I made, these are my best ones:

Jim Carrey 1 (http://media.putfile.com/Jim-Carrey-Soundboard) UPDATED! (AGAIN!!!!)

Jim Carrey 2 (http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5918/jimcarrey28wk.swf)

Enjoy!

First one isn't working for me, but I like the second one. Lots of Almighty there.

The first one is great. But the quality of some of the sounds are bad on the second one

Agree that the first one is best.

If you like making Jim Carrey soundboards so much why not just make one really good one? I don't understand why you would make multiple ones.

Soun quality in the 1st soundboard is ten times better than in the 2nd and most of the quotes are funnier and more useful too. Throw the 2nd soundboard away and work on improving that 1st soundboard.

I update the first soundboard with more sounds.

Take a look:

The reason why I made multiple boards of Jim is because every time I made new one it looks better. But I like the look of this soundboard out of all of them, so I will now just upload sounds on to this board. :)

A 'stop sounds' button is a must.

Also if you want a really good board only pick clips with minimal background noise and all recorded at close range, so the voice comes across nice and clear over the phone.

You're right! Thanks for showing how to make a stop sound button. Now this soundboard looks really good.

Since you seem to respond well to constructive critisism i.e. you act upon it I'll also mention a few more minor things...

- Add a hotkey to your stop sounds button as well.
- Line up your buttons more accurately - use the 'snap to grid' function.
- Perhaps pick a different text/background colour. Black isn't all that easy to see on dark blue.

You sure you want me to change the color? Well, I think it looks fine with Black and blue, but it did make the background a lighter blue. Also, added spacebar to stop sounds.

Also, added spacebar to stop sounds.Yes, the text is easier to see now, good work with the sas hotkey :) Setting one font size for all your buttons would probably be a good idea as well. Some of the text is a bit small and this would also improve the overall look of your board. Just figure out abbreviations or shorter ways if the sound sample is too long to fit.

Yes that would look better - but the sounds are the most important thing really.

The most important thing is to replace crappy sounds that are hard to hear with better ones and to makes the quietest sounds louder. Some also are clearly of a low bit rate and others have too much hiss. Kinda a shame really becasue there are so many good quality ones too.

The quietest sound is "you really want to know my name" - that just isn't usable at that volume.

other problem sounds would be:

"are you losing a little weght"
"what is the dealeo"
"really"
"come on lets have a talk" (there is an extra word at the start)
also you might want to lose the extra word after "well it was nice to meet you"

Other than that I like it good job - could be very useful to me as I'll probably be bored of the Borat sb after a few more calls.

I did what I could do to fix the problem sounds. Also, I got rid of the extra words.

Soundboard is 100% usable now - good work.

Here are more clips you might want to add (obiouvsly some of them you only want part of the clip):

http://www.jimcarreyonline.com/soundclips/itsybitsy/xtermntr.wav

another version of a classic goodbye:

http://www.jimcarreyonline.com/soundclips/mask/uloveme.wav

http://www.jimcarreyonline.com/soundclips/mask/seeya.wav

edit - you also probably want to add some music (eg for putting people on hold etc). I would suggest something from eith the Truman Show soundtrack or possibly something from Liar Liar

Thanks for those clips! I updated the soundboard:

http://upload3.putfile.com/videos/d8-4716382177.swf

It become so large, that I had to find another image hosting site than ImageShack.

Also, I added some cool music, but I couldn't get any soundtrack music from Truman Show or Liar Liar.

Hey thanks for the update, but that link does not work.

Thanks for telling me! I fixed the link. Anyone know a web site besides ImageShack and UploadFile that can host soundboard that 2.75 KB? I tried MegaUpload, But I can't figure out how get the file once it's done uploading.

Looks like i found my next soundboard - I like it. Guess it's my fault the file size is so high cos I asked for music.

Only thing wrong with it now really is that it is kinda narrow - you're only really using half the screen given the huge amount of blank space at the sides. perhaps rearrange the sounds or just move things further to the left and right?

I look forward to the calls. :)

Sadly, I can't update the soundboard anymore since I took the 30-day trail, and now it's over! :(
