-The Post War Dream
-The Fletcher Memorial Home
-The Final Cut

-On The Turning Away
Those are probably the most depressing Pink Floyd songs. They are very good songs though, but sometimes they bring me down.

Evanescence - Missing / So Close / Solitude / Even In Death / Understanding (Amy Lee is very good at this. Except for two or three songs, basically all of their music is in a negative mood, it's just some more than others.)

I don't really feel like listing specific songs right now, but a few artists would be:
Beck (at least his albums Sea Change and Mutations, anyways)
Radiohead
Some Modest Mouse, not all (albums like The Lonesome Crowded West and The Moon and Antarctica have some very despondant songs on them)
Pink Floyd, of course
Pedro The Lion
Explosions In The Sky can be, depending on your take on the song
A Perfect Circle
I could probably come up with some others, but that's all that's coming to mind. Though, I'll submit that Sea Change, by Beck is probably one of the saddest albums I've heard. It's very good to listen to if you're feeling kind of depressed and what not.

Sarah Mclachlan - Angel...
Laugh if you all want but this song makes me want to cry everytime I hear it. They played it for my friend Russell's funeral when he died in a car accident shortly after high school. Ever since then, when I hear the song I think about how sad his 100's of friends were on that night. It didn't matter how "cool" or how"tough" you were thatnight, everyone cried. Now I can't listen to that song without getting choked up and if I'm alone and that song comes on, I break down everytime
R.I.P. Russell.

Cold Wind- The Arcade Fire.
It's a song that makes me very sad so I can't be low when I listen to it. If I'm in a good mood, I can tolerate it.

I think alot of Opeth is quite sad, especially the concept of the whole album Still Life. Opeth, in general, is not nessicarily sad...but kind of depressing...in an awesome way, lol.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, another song (instrumental) that is fairly sad to me is Orion by Metallica, but only because it reminds me of this really sad HBO special I watched a long time ago.
