Depends on how long the song is.

1 minute song = $60.00
2 minute song = $120.00
3 minute song = $180.00

So on and so forth.

Enjoy. :)

Exactly! Paying to download music is one of the stupidest things a person can do.

Get Morpheus or Limewire, then you can get music for free... or just buy the cd.

iTunes charges up to $.99 per song. Whole CD's will usually run you $9.99.

Go buy the CD, I hate when people download music... That is most likely why all the music on MTV is pointed towards little kids... Because they dont know how to download music (imo). Besides how are you helping the bands by stealing from them?

You can also buy whole cds on iTunes (i think someone already said that). But it saves the trip to Best Buy or wherever you would go. If all else fails, download from Ares or Limewire. I do a mix of both...

You're not helping the bands by buying the CD's, you're helping them when you go to the concerts, almost all of the money from the sale of the CD's goes to the record companies who make about a 25,000% markup on each disk. If the band sees 5% of that it's a miracle. They make their money from concert ticket sales and promotions. If you buy a CD you're supporting the evil recording empire.

Go here: http://www.allofmp3.com and pay pennies per track to the Russian mafia, they're more honest and reputable than the RIAA by a long shot.

That's exactly what I tell people. Hear that people. Pay attention to this guy.

Piracy authorities and record companies constantly try to make downloaders look like the bad people. But in reality, the record companies are the bad people.

I understand what you're saying, but I would still rather have a record collection rather than a collection of music files on a computer.

Yeah, I agree. Personally I prefer to have the real CDs, then I can sit them on my shelf and gaze at them all day :). But I don't have that kind of money unfortunately.

I've got so damned many CD's, DVD's and CD/DVD Rom's that I almost need another freakin' house to hold them all, but, I also have a cool terrabyte of MP3's, admitedly most of them are legitimate and I own the CD or other recorded media of the song, but damn the RiAA and all those jerks. I still buy CD's, but not as much as I used to and I'm glad too, because a lot of the music I download isn't stuff I'd be willing to pay for and I don't hang on to it. If I do like it though, I usually have the CD anyway or will get it in a week or less. Let them try to arrest me, because they'd have a hard time finding an MP3 on any of my machines I don't legally own.

Still, I hate their guts.
