There are few things as amusing as watching a little old lady in a wheelchair firing a fully automatic weapon :D
The most I can get my mom to shoot is a .357 loaded with .38's!
Two thumbs-up on that, eBaum!!!!!!

Well, it kinda helps clear up the popular misconception that shooting is a man's sport, don't you think?
And I think it's heartwarming that she obviously had a great time.
I encourage ALL responsible, law abiding adults to participate in recreational shooting, and that includes [supervised] children. Just last year I taught my friend's 12 year old daughter how to shoot. She's now on a junior rifle team and doing very well. The sport has taught her team play, discipline, concentration, dedication, and loyalty. Her grades even went up, which I for one am not willing to write off as coincidence.
12 year old girl on a rifle team or an 80+ year old cripple with a machine gun... yes, both are heartwarming. This country needs more women like that.
You disagree?

Hmmm... upon careful examination, I can't make out that the target is a picture of Hitler. Looks like just a drawing of a thug to me. You can find plenty of those targets in stores. Actually, you can even print out free targets of all kinds of things! Here, take a look... http://www.targetz.com
You can download and print targets for free! They have regular targets, different shapes, flower pots, animals, Osama bin Laden, Saddam, Billiards, the moon, rabbit ears, flies, slots, dice, bottles, and even gnomes.
Fact is, a target is just a piece of paper with ink on it. The ink is to give you something to aim at. That makes it < gasp > FUN. (shame, shame)
Whether grandma over there is shooting at a picture of Hitler or a picture of Santa, does it really matter? It's PAPER. No blood was spilled. Relax, you can sleep tonight.

It was pretty amusing as she aimed at the paper and fired, the kick tipped the gun up. Wonder how she would fare firing a .44

kinda ironic that she was shooting with a mp-40(Nazi weapons of WW2) at Hitler. Anyone know how she got the weapon?

Funny you ask, 'cause she happens to be my grandma, and I know for a fact that my grandpa stole that MP40 from Adolf Hitler himself after losing a long poker match. So yes, of course I know how she got the weapon.

Absolutely. One time my cousin Sue Ellen got real mad at me for sneakin' off with my sister, MaryJo-Beth, and told Aunt Mom on me.
I'm sorry Fonseca, you are clearly a lot more witty and educated than I am, so I'll back down now... I'm too damned stupid (must be all that 'shine I done drunk) to rub elbows with people people of your caliber.
Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go get that dern transmission out of the tub so I can give the coonhounds a bath, then hem up my klan robes... We're fixin' to buy us a new bug zapper tomorrow, and I want to make sure I look my very best for goin' to the Wal-Mart.
While we're on the subject of stereotyping, let's take a look at your profile. Well, well, well, a marijuana leaf. Hmm, since you like weed I guess that means you're a vegan, a tree-hugger, you don't shave, and you listen to Phish. Right? Just like all of us "gun nuts" are backwoods hillbilly rednecks that haven't gotten past the concept of an outhouse, right?
Sorry, hate to break it to you, but I live in Southern New England, I do not have a mullet, and I live in a house that is not only on a paved road, but has electricity *and* indoor plumbing. You clearly smell like a liberal (or at best a filthy hippy), so don't you think it's a bit insensitive and discriminatory to make a comment like that?
Then again, seeing as how you're from Canada, I wouldn't expect you to know what it's like to have rights, especially gun rights. I also wouldn't expect you to know what a strong American woman is like.

3 things
1) You're a n00b
2) Liberals don't suck, you do
3) Canada pwns New England
4) Guns kill. Guns cause more harm than they do protection, more pain than pleasure, and more fear than peace. And you support them, clearly, no matter how well of a performance you showed  , I AM more educated than you, good day.

Yeah!!! Guns kill people and freaking keyboards are the reason most people on this board spell like idiots.
'Guns kill people' is the excuse used when you don't want to take responsibility for killing someone else. Guns(and keyboards) are inanimate objects. They do not make choices of their own and, no matter what you may believe, cannot act on their own accord. If we followed your train of thought, we could say bullets themselves are responsible for all gun-related deaths. It is the idiots behind the guns that kill people. Not the gun and definatly not the bullets. When guns are used in a responsible and controlled manner, they are not very dangerous. The competition the other poster mentioned takes a lot of skill. A trophy in that competition is just as honorable as any other competition.

If in the heat in the moment, you got pissed at someone, you could bash thier face in. But if you had happen to have a gun ... well, you're going to spend life behind bars. Fine, guns don't kill people, make they sure as hell make it easier to.

Who else would be mildly amused if FonsecaWalls died by being shot?
Guns don't kill people. People kill people. You are not more educated than SigPro, and you clearly show it by saying that inanimate objects kill people. Yeah, suuuure.
And no, Canada is not better than New England.

I went looking for it but couldn't find it. Could you please quote your sources that state all this? I want to know statistically how much more of a percentage of the population live in fear because of guns than those that live in peace.
Would you happen to have a scatter plot for this or some sort of demographical map...maybe with a happy face for peace and a frown for fear...something...?
