I'm sure many of you would agree, that History has proven time and time again, that inaction results in more loss of life. Look at World War I, if the U.S wouldn't have remained neutral for so long, many lives could have been saved, and the war could have been over sooner. This is the same scenario, should we wait for a ruthless dictator like Saddam build up a strong enough military and conquer his surrounding neighbors. OR should we stop the madman now before things get out of hand. I would hate to wake up one morning and turn on the TV and find that D.C or some major US city has been nuked. I hate WAR, no one wants war but there is at some point, that war is a neccesary evil and this is definately one of those times. I'd like to believe that diplomacy could be reached, but for a man like Saddam that kills his own people for no reason, diplomacy is no longer an option. As for you, anti-war protesters, I think many if not ALL OF YOU, forgot September 11! I don't know about you, but I didn't forget about the thousands who were murdered then. This is not only about setting Iraqi's free, but this is about remembering the lives of love ones lost on 9/11. I can gurantee that all the families who were tragically hit on September 11, are totally for this war. Stop living in a fairy tale where everything is gonna work out and let diplomacy take its course. If you think diplomacy is so easy, get your ass in politics and make it happen. Otherwise stop hendering this country from protecting its self and others. And for all you religious fanatics outthere who so proudly quote the commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill" It is written in the Bible for the strong to protect those who cannot protect themselves from evil people. Sometimes you don't know what you have, till its gone. Protect your country and stop living a lie.
