Hi Im new here and I need help with creating a soundboard. I want to make a Don Vito soundboard of my own so i need to know howto take his voice off of a DVD and makeit into a soundboard so can anyone please help. Ive never made my own soundboard before and I would like to. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

You can do this by running an RCA/Photo to jack lead from the audio outs of your DVD player to the line in of your soundcard. Then make sure that the recording properties of your soundcard are set to 'line in'.
Boot up your favourite audio editing software application, like Soundforge or Goldwave and click 'record'. :)
NB. For most regular soundcards a conventional phono to 3.5mm jack lead, like this one: http://cableservelimited.co.uk/uploads/products/0862822.jpg will be fine. If you have a more professional soundcard... well you should know, otherwise you wasted your money lol
btw Don Vito sounds like fun, but d'ya think anyone'll understand a word of what he says? hehe

Thanks for the reply but I have another question. How do I take just Vitos voice from it like the parts that I want of him talking how do I just record that ??? Thanks

Just record around the part you want and then trim the rest away. You can do this in either of the two audio editors I've mentioned.
