Anyone know any famous players or know people who met them
Brett Saberhagen had a mansion 5 mins from my house. Billy **** a once White Sox pitcher went to my high school and everyone knew him in my town. Frank Catalanotto on the blue jays happens to live 10 mins from my house.
My history teacher was starting QB for Hofstra and told me he was buddies with Wayne Chrebet he also said Wayne never played his sophomore year and he wasn’t that great of a player and basically sucked until his later years and some practice. My teacher said he would of bet a million bucks back then that Wayne wouldn’t of made it to the NFL but now Wayne is rich and my teacher isn’t lol.and I met Don Mattingly and have an autograph I might of said it before.

My parents used to be good friends with a starting pitcher for the Astros in the 90's....last name was Ray. My dad knows another retired pitcher from a team I can't remember. I had a sub in 6th grade that played in the minors, and said he was going to the majors, but I'm not sure.
My mom called me 15 minutes ago, and said she saw Joe Montana. She's in Chicago right now.

the guy in my avatar is from my hometown. He was a mcdonalds all american and was Big Ten freshman of the year, played on junior olympic teams, etc. He was interviewed by ESPN and junk. Charles Barkley said he was going to make a really good pro.
Then he smoked a bunch of pot and fought with his college coach and ruined his bball career.

my aunt taught New Jersey Devil and Team USA hockey player Brian Gionta.
But my greatest story of meeting athletes was I think 3 or 4 summers ago, whenever the NHL draft was in Toronto. Earlier that summer I had broken my wrist playing in a hockey tournament. On the next rink over was the U-16 men's USA develpoment program with Ray Bourque's son, Chris playing. Ray was there and he signed my cast. A few weeks later my dad and I went to Toronto for the NHL draft and were eating in Gretzkys resturant. A lot of draft picks were around us, one of them was Duncan Keith from Chicago but the waitress came up to us and said 'He's here!' and I almost nutted my pants. He came around out of the kitchen and made his way around to a few tables and signed my cast.
So I have a smelly cast sitting around with the best goal socrer in the game and arugably the best defenseman.

My mom met Bart Starr a few months ago.
I've met Nick Van Exel a few times, and I'm going to meet Brian Calhoun, the former Wisconsin running back in a few weeks.
I played a football game against Travis Beckhum, who is on Wisconsin's football team.

My brother knows Jason Allison of the Leafs where he went to school with (Humber Summit Middle School) and Kevin Weekes of the NY Rangers where they both went to goaltending school together alot. Both are good guys. Glad to see these guys from where they grew up to end up in the NHL. Myself I went to school with Kerry Carter. He was the 3rd string RB of the Seattle Seahawks. Sucks that he got waived and I hope he gets picked up by a team.
