I am just wondering what kind of stuff can you do to improve your jump? ie exercises, or ankle weights etc.

I saw a whole load of websites on this, even though I don't play basketball. I would apply the basic principles of any power excercise before doing anything special:
-Overload the muscles in your legs.
-Eat/drink plenty of protein.
So for excercises you want to simulate the motion that your legs carry out - a very quick extension. The simplest way to do this would be to wear some form of weights and simply carry out the jumps. As your legs build muscle to accomodate the greater weight you are carrying, when you remove that weight you will be able to jump higher.
I will try to dig out the websites for you, but don't hold your breath. As a starting point, I seem to remember I googled "learn how to dunk" or something like that.

Squat. It improved my jump alot, and of course it helps immensely for stuff like football. Or just be black

I've been on about 4 different jump programs and none of them have worked as well as Air Alert 3, I can PM it to you if you want. After I used AA3, I was two-handing it with ease. I also recommend Jumpsoles, search them in Google, those help alot too.

Bluesheep, how tall are you? Just wondering, since I'm pretty short and probably won't be able to dunk any time soon.
