Pretty amazing, eh? Loved the music too. Very soothing. Enhanced the overall feeling of awesomeness.

Yea definitely...there are more vids at the site (sandfantasy.com)...even though people may think she has too much time on her hands, it's the fact that it is art that matters.

I couldn't enjoy it because the whole time I was waiting for a screamer.

I am not going to lie to you sometimes I scan though the video before I watch it to make sure it's not a screamer. I have seen enough of them to know were one could be placed with much effect.

hehe i do that too...clicking the slider toward the end to make sure it's still the same vid...but maybe the time i decide to just watch some random video from the beginning without suspicion, it'll be a screamer.

You guys are hillarious, a screamer? What's wrong with those? :D
Anyways, the video was amazing. Incredible skills. Too much time on her hands.

The video was definately awesome. I suspect, and could be wrong that it is somewhat inspired by Tibetan Buddhist Sand Mandalas (http://www.dharmanet.com.br/mandala/chakrasamvaramandala.jpg). These are ORNATE sand art drawings where they draw out an entire castle or entire subject they use tools, scoop like things, and line tools etc. etc. Not to mention by convention they MUST be destroyed. They can spend literally 24 hours on one and when it's finished, they dump the sand away. Keep in mind btw, these things have depth. The use the sand to build upwards as well as accross the page. If you looked accross it you could clearly see gradations.
Anyway, what she was doing was pretty cool. Certainly a good concept. Art is groundbreaking, I never saw anyone ever do that before. So I supose it was pretty cool. I would have liked a little more detail work. It was really good no doubt but, for me, detail work would have sealed the deal.

Yeah I think you're right. I saw something like this a couple of years ago, but I think this is just a new/different version of it.
