funny thing about the asian stigma, I just got back from Japan, and I didnt see a single DDR game in any of the arcades..including the massive sega arcade and Joyopolis. The two current trends Ive noticed are still the beat mania games (guitar, drum, and turntable) , and some other games where you buy booster packs of cards and place them on the game. The game then reads your stats off the card. and you move the card around trying to play the game...such as soccer, dynasty warrior type clone, or some mech game.

As far as the bar raping in DDR. I don't play the game, but if it's there, then use it. It may not be what it is intended for, but if you can improve your game with it, so be it. The video was impressive to say the least though IMHO.

Here is a link to a picture of the same person in this video playing Legend Road. 7928 on legend road he has 7939 now. Highest score in the world is 7977 atm. But anyways... in that JSB vid (old one/only one on the net) he fails on psmo and already had like 150+ greats and like 500ish perfects... It's just an alternate version of the song 'A', probably Stepmania hooked up to the tv.

(Stepmania is a DDR simulator for the computer, it's really good, you can hook your pad up into the usb drive and play tons of unique custom songs)
