A sample of the test draft hopefulls take, it's ridiculously easy.
http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228test.html
This is a sample of the one Vince Young got like a 12 on but then retook it.

and this also poses the question, did Vince Young aka "Radio" actually pass high school and college if he got a six on a test that i scored on in the 40's?
For crying out loud his SAT score was like an 840, and I scored higher than that when i took a PSAT in the FUCKING SEVENTH GRADE....

Go play like him on the field and until then shut up. Oh and btw, I'm sure your scores are helping you a lot more than how his career on the field helps him. And when was the last time the Aggies went to the national championship?
basically hes as smart as I was in 5th grade.
So I'm guessing that's smarter than you are now?
Who gives a shit about this test? No one even cares about it. The scouts don't and neither do the players. Dan Marino scored horrible on it too and how'd his career end up? Last time I checked he was in the Hall of Fame. I highly doubt he even took this test seriously.

Craig Krenzel didn't take it seriously...And still got a 38. Come one you can't use the excuse "didn't take it seriously"...It's a fucking 6!! He could have gone through and answered randomly and answered more right.

Vince's score was not a 6, but a fucking 16. Jim Kelly, Terry Bradshaw, and Dan Marino all scored 15s. How'd they end up?

He scored a 6, then mommy called and got them to let him retake it...Jason Maas scored a 43, Akili Smith scored a 37, Todd Husak scored a 39. How did they end up?

"I heard about the 6," Tennessee general manager Floyd Reese said Sunday morning. "I heard the test was improperly given, and I heard they're going to try and correct it.
On Sunday, the combine said the test score of 6 that was being reported by some media outlets was false.
"I've been told it was inaccurate by a source good enough for me to quote it," Texans general manager Charley Casserly said Sunday afternoon.
"The combine officials assured us that score (6) was false and that the accurate score will be known when the combine results are given to each team," Adams said.
Young took the test again and scored 16. According to Young's agent, Major Adams, the Sunday test was administered by Jeff Foster, executive director of National Scouting Combine.
He never scored a 6.
Jason Maas went to the CFL because he couldn't make it in the nfl. Akili Smith was just a bust. And I don't remember Todd Husak.

Well the point of me bringing those guys up was comparing what VY got compared to great QB's made as much sense as comparing the high scores of shitty ones. And just throwing it out there, but wouldn't you think they would want to cover up the idiocy of the supposed "best college football player ever"? If he didn't score a 6, then what did he score on his first test? Why was a retake administered? Some people are saying it was improperly given, improperly scored, and flat out false, which is it?

Are you fuckin retarded? Of course they care about the test, if they didnt, THEY WOULDNT GIVE THEM THE TEST. Vinces draft stock dropped after he scored a 6...now i guess the 6 doesnt matter because he got butthurt and got to retake...why he is so special that he got a retake is beyond me, but oh well. People dont want to hang their franchise hat on a dumbfuck so the test does hold some salt.

Can you read? Everyone said that he did not score a fucking 6. And also before they went to the combine the players had taken practice tests but Vince never took the practice so this was his first time taking it. Then he took it again. And what does this waste-of-time test prove? Football doesn't exactly require a 180 IQ and there's no doubt that Vince knows how to play...For fucks sake just watch his games.
Favre was a drunky, sucked when the Falcons let him play in an exhibition game and in one regular-season game, and went to a no-name school. Why would someone hang their franchise on him? And how did it turn out? Pretty good. Of course Vince won't be as great as Favre was...just throwing it out there.

The point in me comparing him to the greats is to say...this test means absolutely nothing and doesn't prove a damn thing...sorry that you couldn't grasp a simple fucking concept.

You should have to be of a certain intelligence level to do anything in life. I mean if he had a legitmate learning disability that'd be one thing but I'm assuming he doesn't. If he couldn't throw a ball or fun fast he'd be nothing. Just like most of these delinquents in the NFL or NBA. Its ridiculous. I'm a huge sports fan but there's nothing I can't stand more than all of thse thugs having everything handed to them on a silver platter. Take away their athletic ability and they're nothing. And nobody holds them accountable anymore. Oh its ok he's a moron, he can throw a ball. Not all athletes are like this, but its becoming more prevalent.

Take away their athletic ability and they're nothing.
Take away Einstein's intelligence and he's nothing...Where the hell are you going with this? Are you saying they don't work hard with what they have? And by reading your post it seems as if you're projecting Vince as if he was a thug...

So if it means nothing then why do they even give the test? Are you an NFL executive? Are you involved with deciding which events go into the combine? Obviously since you know this test means nothing, next year there will be no Wonderlic, right?

If it means so much than why did so many of the great QB's score so low...Does this wonderlic test prove if a QB is good or not? Please tell me what does it prove.

It has nothing to do with showing what skills the player has. It's just a simple aptitude test to give an idea of a players intelligence. This doesn't take away from Young's skills on the field, but after seeing his scores some GM's might question how well he'll be able to learn a new offense and read NFL defenses, not the type of defenses he's played against all year. (11 men spying the QB leaving a lot of 1 on 1 matchups)

Well other players that scored low on this test didn't do so bad at reading defenses...IMO I really don't think this will make a difference. But I actually think he might be the 3rd QB drafted because all of this hype that Jay Cutler is getting out of fucking nowhere...

The numbers that Cutler put up at the combine were extremely impressive for a QB, not to mention he had a great senior week.

That wasn't my point, jackass. I said he may not have passed high school due to his horrific test scores, therefore it would render him ineligible in college...

Well nobody ever accused football players of being smart. I think it is kinda funny when they score low. It kinda grounds them back to reality. It is like saying "YES Vince, we only like you because you can entertain us with that ball not because we respect your mind"
If the NFL was based only on IQ then Bill Gates or god forbid, Stephen Hawkings would be hall of famers.
It is not however and gladly we are stuck with the likes of Vince Young who probably didn't learn to spell his name until the 10th grade.
That is OK however, cause you dont win football games with pencils and pens.
That brother runs like his ass is on fire and he is headed to "da licka stoe" to put it out with free 40's.
Oh and no Vince its not unfair or rascist, you are in fact, stupid. Hard to take that cold hard fact after a life of "your number one kid!" "go Vince!" and "HOOK EM HORNS!!!"
Flying so high and then smack bang, he hits da erf! Hell, if nobody else wants em im sure Jerry will take a look at him. He took Quincy Carter didnt he.
Till Quincy decided he wanted some of dat bubonic cronic and fucked himself out of a prime situation. I heard Quincy scored low too.
Who cares if you score low?
as long as your good it the sport it dont really matter.
