If you haven't heard of Kid-17, or have heard OF IT, but not heard it, you gotta check this out. This great music site called Keep Music Alive is starting to post mixes of it. Basically if you play two copies of the Radiohead album "Kid A", and sync them 17 seconds apart, everything syncs up perfectly and some amazing stuff happens. I've seen some poorly done mixes, but this site is doing it spot-on and it's the best mix I've heard anywhere. While you're there, take a look around and join the site, there's a lot of cool discussions to participate in once you're a member. Here's the link

Actually, it doesn't match up perfectly all the time. But it does match up in some really weird ways sometimes. I was planning on trying this out once I got my hands on another copy of Kid A, but I guess I'll just use that link. Thanks.

This also works if you play "Everything in Its Right Place" and "Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box" (from Amnesiac) at the same time.

It turns out that the "17 seconds" is NOT a rule of thumb. They are really onto something over there, really investigating it further than anyone else has, and getting better 10X better results than I've seen anywhere else. You should seriously read that thread and not just download them, it's great stuff. :)

Well, however they line up, those first three tracks provided sound awfully intriguing. It's odd, on Kid A and The National Anthem, you don't even really notice there're two tracks playing unless you actually focus on it. Everything In It's Right Place is a bit more noticeable, but it's actually my favorite mix of the three.

Anyways, cool stuff.

That site can make all of your wildest dreams come true and grant you all your wishes. For instance yesterday I made a wish at that site for something really awesome, and then a few seconds later there was a ninja riding a unicorn in my living room!! I've never seen such an amazing site, go there and make a wish of your own. :)
