That man is a guarantee.

German National Team:
Dirk Nowitzki

I like this whole "get players from all levels" deally. But to be honest, those players that aren't in the NBA yet, will be in a year.

didnt they end up adding iverson too?

Anyway its good to see that they finally got some shooters on that team, which was the major problem with the 04 team, that and lebron didnt see the court much. But i think its a mistake to not pressure Tim Duncan to play, or to pressure Shaq to play, maybe try to get jermaine oneal to play. They need a dominant bigman along with the shooters. Its bad when our best center(or only center) is brad miller.

Em Amare Stoudemire? or is he more of a PF.

Also Shaq has a standing invitation if he wants to join.

luke ridnour????

Yeah, he should've been a likely pick, especially over Bruce Bowen. I know Bruce is one of the best defenders in the league, but that's why they put Shawn Marion on the team.

Does anybody know why they snubbed Iverson? Was it just to give the younger guys more experience? I don't see why they'd hold out on a top MVP candidate.

they snubbed him because he will be too old in 08, usa basketball wants as much young players as they can get so they can start building a team that will be together for a few olympics. I Agree though i think its stupid they didn't invite him.

and luke ridinour(sp) why is he on the team ahead of kirk hinrich hes better then ridinour.

That's total crap that AI didn't get invited...I mean it'd be alright if he didn't actually make the team...But they could've atleast invited him to the tryouts.

J.J. and Morrison did get official invites. I haven't heard anything about Greg Oden being invited. Perhaps that could be the case if Shaq declines his offer. With the players that have accepted their invitations, my team of twelve is this:

Guards:
Gilbert Arenas, Chauncey Billups, Kobe Bryant, J.J. Redick, Dwyane Wade

Forwards:
Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Adam Morrison, Paul Pierce

Centers:
Brad Miller, Amaré Stoudemire, Dwight Howard
