That's got to be taking place in another country, where the women are still subservient to the men, because you know if that had happened in America the woman would have said "Oh No you di'int just slap me!!" Notice how she just stands there and takes his hands again as if nothing happened, like it's totally normal to slap the shit out of your wife in public. Dumbass foreigners. (Not to say stuff like that doesn't happen in the US, of course....)

so I take it that you put American women on a pedestal.
I don't think an American woman of that age and status would make a big fuss. She might become a women's rights activist when her man isn't around, but surely she wouldn't make a big fuss about being slapped around at the dance!

I'm sorry that was just hilarious. I always laugh whenever I watch that video. It's either a custom of some kind (although the looks from the other people might disprove that) or the guy is abusive.
Still it's funny, especially with that music.

I do put my wife on a pedestal, yes. Not all women, American or otherwise deserve to be on a pedestal, however. Look at that rabid bitch, Hillary Clinton, for example...

Its been a long day and I'm very tired. Should I be insulted or flattered?
It sort of looked accidental to me, from the way they're all flinging their hands around as part of the dance.
