I was stuck between Sodom and Kreator. I've seen them both live and Sodom put on a better show. Plus, Agent Orange is just all sorts of awesome.

I finally made my choice, Tankard won me over while listening to "Chemical Invasion". Awesome album I must say!

Easily Sodom from your list.
But if you want the best German thrash band, Mekong Delta easily wins.

I'm just curious, how many sub-genres are there in Metal? It seems like there's 6.022x10^23 different sub-genres.

Theres a couple.
Basically, this is a thrash metal band poll, from bands hailing from Germany. It is NOT a new genre.

Thanks I will check them out. By the way, what do you think of Morbid Saint, Guillotine, and Hexenhaus?

Morbid Saint's "Spectrum Of Death" is a killer release. Great brutal thrash there. Reminds me of Demolition Hammer, but with more death metal influence. Always a solid thrash album to listen to.
I've never heard the other two. I'll have to check them out.
Put pick up Mekong Delta's "Dances of Death." Title track is 20 minutes of pure thrash madness. Actually, anything by them is excellent.
