Seriously guys, my mom went to college for teaching autistic kids, and autism is not the same as being retarded. Autistic people are quite often brilliant in some areas, and have trouble in others.

Actually, I'm gonna have to with the other guys here. Autism does not make a person retarded. My younger brother has a form of autism and I have to admit he can be wierd sometimes but he's really smart in mathematics, and started reading well in school before my other younger brother (who is two years older than him) did.
