both undefeated super middleweight champions, with 60 fights between them. Who's going to come out on top tonight?

Jeff Lacy IMO.

Well I think that was the best match I've ever seen. Simply for sheer dominance from Joe. He boxed the fight of his life, even better than when I saw him back in '97 fighting Eubank. I think I counted pretty much everyone of the 12 rounds to Joe, maybe 11.

The speed, stamina, strength and agility really put Lacy in a lower class. Full credit to Lacy though, he fought like a true warrior, always came back, looking for his chance to shine. But there's no doubting Joe here, he's proved why he's not only my favourite but the countries favourite right next to Hatton.

To me personally, I've been a strong follower of his. My mate is a Hatton man. I've just always felt Calzaghe hasn't got the respect and credit he derserves from what he's accomplished and tonight he'll go home knowing that he's proved himself to be worthy of one of the world top 10 pound for pound fighters.

Completely lopsided fight. Calzaghe was just utterly dominant throughout, the only reason the fight wasn't stopped was because it was a title unifaction bout.

Here's how I scored it:

Calzaghe - 10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/10/9(Deduction)/10
Lacy - 9/9/9/9/9/9/9/9/9/9/9/8

Placed a bet on Calzaghe and it came through. Are you both state he effectively fought the perfect fight. It was a masterclass, with the years of expereince showing through. Calzaghe had prepared well for the fight, whilst Lacy's team just seem to decide that Joe was passed it, and that in part proved to be their downfall.

It's sad that so many people viewed Calzaghe as being washed up, and I'm happy that Joe has finally proved what a top fighter he is by unifying two of the supermiddleweight belts. Hopefully the fight won't act as a 'red alert' for any fighter of ability to avoid fighting this guy, as I'd love to see a Calzaghe vs Tarvor or Kessler fight. Bring it on!!!

Joe outclassed Lacy in every aspect. One of the best matches I have seen for a while. I knew Calzaghe was a good fighter, but he proved just how good by beating Lacy the way he did. Well done, Joe.

What made me laugh is the cocky ignorant Americans who thought Lacey was gonna mop the floor with Calzaghe.
Calzaghe never gets the respect he deserves, hes like 33 or 34 so he hasnt got many fights left before he retires but Americans havent taken any notice of him.
Hes one of the best boxers in the world hes technicaly brilliant.
I knew Calzaghe would win.
