The Security Council, at least in my belief, has failed to support the liberation of an oppressed people and therefore is beginning to outlive its use.
The U.N. Security Council was made in a way to avoid another Legion of Nations (a "U.N." of sorts from the early 20th century that did not act on the beginning of WW2, which may have resulted in its reaching such a mammoth scale), but it is now showing the same characteristics. They INSIST on inspections that have lasted 13 years, even though it is obvious no evidence will be found with such an uncooperative government!
Anyone else think the Security Council is beginning to falter?
