To me it is as simple as
A) Several thousand people murdered every month
B) Saddam has made every attempt to make NBC weapons
C) Saddam has, and continues to harbor terrorist factions, one of which is an extremist faction associated with Al Qaeda
D) Though some of us Americans who live in relative luxury don't support this war, people who have immigrated to America from Iraq seem to be the only people to support this war 100%. Why? Because they've lived under his oppressive regime, and have seen first hand the horrors he has executed.
E) Civilian casualties, though part of every war, will be greatly limited by the use of weapons exponentially more precise than those used in the Gulf War.
F) The current heir to Iraq's throne is a rapist and murderer
G) Iraqi immigrants tell story of big brother, intimidation to do demonstrations against U.S., torture, murders of entire families, and sporadic public executions
H) In the late 1980's, nearly 100,000 people were slaughtered by this murderous dictator. Can you say G-E-N-O-C-I-D-E?
I) Saddam Hussein has had nearly 13 years to disarm, and has chosen not to.
J) Saddam Hussein has not and would not have cooperated with U.N. inspections
K) Saddam Hussein's only form of diplomacy is war
L) Thousands upon thousands of people have starved to death because instead of using his money to buy food, Saddam made many, many palaces
M) Before Saddam, Iraq had a GDP equal to Portugal. Now that he's in power, Iraqis make roughly $2,400 yearly.
N) I'm sure anyone with an I.Q. over 70 could list reasons to go to Iraq all the way to Z

Well said!!!! The most telling evidence of Saddams brutality is the exiled Iraqis who, really, are the only citizens of that country who can truly voice their opinion.

What these peace loving people seem to fail to realize is that at the "end" of Desert Storm what was the general mood of the military command? TAKE OUT SADDAM!!! Instead we acted with restraint, they cried uncle and we accepted. We ended our operations and attempted humanitarian efforts. In case people missed it on PMS/NBC Stormin' Norman was on there 2 nights ago and pointed out how at the talks Iraqi officals complained they needed to use military helicopters to move around the country and asked in the talks if this was acceptable under the agreement, immediatly after the acceptance they started using the helicopters not in a humanitarian effort or simply to manuver around the country but to use the weapons on them to suppres anti-Bath or anti-Saddam forces.

Look this enemy is without soul, it cares less about its fellow country man than any other living animal on the planet. They dare to build military operations right next to or in civilian buildings or places in which civilians will be most often, they use civilian shields, they torture their own people in horrific ways, they would destroy their own natural resources that even if they win the war they could never recover. These "things" as they do not even deserve to be refered to as humans need to understand that when the US and eventually the World says "Do this, or we're comming" We ain't F'in joking!

Good points for pro-war. But I just wanna clarify one thing: we stopped the Gulf War because it was a UN resolution's war. The resolution said to get Saddam out of Kuwait, and we did that. Very well, I might add. Problem was, to push on would be america declaring war at a time when we were confused, immediately after the soviets' fall.

all valid points. My big beef with the war is how terribly Bush acted diplomatically. Many governments are very unhappy with the attitude and tactics of this administration.

Good job Zingos, you made points I agree with 100%, however, you left out the reasons of the anti-war protesters:

A) Its cool to protest
B) Saddam must be telling the truth because he only lied for 12 years, its not like we shouldn't trust him or anything
C) If we bomb Iraq people will die, because Saddam is such a great person and won't kill anybody if we didn't do it, the tens of thousands of Iraqis he has killed do not mean anything

Yeah, thats about as much as I gathered.... makes sense eh? I can't believe how many stupid people there are....
