Alcohol and tobacco are not illegal to ingest - but Marijuana is. Prozac can be obtained with a prescription - but not Marijuana. Marijuana grows naturally - but both alcohol and Prozac are synthetically produced. Cigarettes are addictive and cancer causimg - Marijuana is neither. What is wrong with this picture?

In reference your signature. Coming from someone who 1) Has smoked a quanitity of marijuana -- does not anymore, by choice. 2) Does not drink really at all. (last time I had to drink must have been over a year) 3) Do smoke tobacco. 4) Have taken prescriped psychoactive drugs.

1) Tobacco is partially synthetically produced. Most tobacco companies infuse their tobacco with nicotine. If you think there's just a machine or a person picking tobacco and a machine rolls it you are sorely mistaken.

2) Most alcohol is not by nature synthetically reduced. Alcohol can be produced by the fermentation of grapes, (and other things) a completely natural process. And, other forms of alcohol have natural ingredients: e.g. potatoes, rice, grain distilled.

3) Marijuana is not illegal to ingest, it's illegal to posses. As a matter of fact I don't think smoking it is any more of a crime than possesing it.

4) Most likely the marijuana you smoke(if you smoke anythng have decent) is produced using synthetic procedures. E.G. Hydroponics. The marijuana is mounted in porous material and water is pumped over it at a consistent rate. In addition there are Halide lights that are completely unnatural. And lastly, if marijuana was grown naturally, I wouldn't grow anywhere near you unless you live in the jungle or the rain forrest.

5)The fact that prozac (et al.) is synthetically produced merely means that scientists produced it in a lab. They are produced to have one function and limit side effects. They are produced to react in a controlled enviroment. They go to specific receptors in your brain.

6) Cigarettes are definately addictive and cancerous, on that we can agree. However, IF YOU THINK MARIJUANA IS NOT CANCEROUS, YOU ARE AN IGNORAMUS! IF YOU THINK IT'S NOT ADDICTIVE YOU ARE IN DENIAL! There are medical studies, studies by those people.....what are they called again, they go to school for a long time...OHHHHHHHHH Doctors. Right right. OPEN YOUR EYES!!

If you want to smoke weed, God bless and more power to you, but don't come arguing with some weak weak argument that somehow compares prozac to marijuana. Prozac IS PRESCRIBED BY A DOCTOR!! IT IS MEDICATION!! Just the same as Anti-Biotics, Cortisone Shots, or Vaccinations. Where does it compare to marijuana at all? Seriously, how are two related? You could have said "Advil is synthetic and so is alcohol..." absolute ignorance.

Just admit it, I smoke ganja, I know it's bad for my health, I know I can become both pschycologically (more likely) and physically addicted to marijuana. Any reading I have done or any idiot that I have talked to that says the contrary is wrong.
