Who are your Final Four picks,Sleepers?,Teams that got Snubbed?ect.

Man, what are the people that make the brackets drinking?

Tenn loses 4 outta 7 gets bounced early from the tournment and still gets a #2 seed, talk about love for Bruce Pearl

George Washington a #8 seed? and then get Duke? geez.

What about Mizzzou St or Cincy,not over Air Force or Utah St?

My other problem is..

How did Tenn get a #2,and BC get a #4 seed?Tennessee who loses 4 of last 7.BC made a strong finish,only losing to Duke in the ACC final.

My picks are Villanova,Duke,UCONN and Gonzaga for the final four.

I have Duke beating UCONN for the title.

welcome to college hoops and what we in the Carolinas have known for decades:there is partiality towards the Tarheels by the NCAA,allways has been,allways will be.

Just watch how they get every single big break call to go their way in the big games............(see the Villanova game last year in the sweet 16 when 'Nova beat them dead to rights,and somebody faked a travelling call to keep the Heels and Ole Roy alive)

Now now, seeing that you're a Red Sox fan, I understand the inclination to dislike the juggernaut teams...

It's been said if you're not a Yankees fan, you HATE the Yankees...

Same is true for Duke...

Everybody wants to be them, but nobody wants to see them win...

Boston College had two shots at Duke, once midseason after Duke was re-establishing themselves after the loss to Georgetown, and once again in the ACC finals where Duke was coming off of 2 losses...

They came up just short both times...

I will say however, if Duke had not won the ACC tourney, they would probably struggle to make it to the Elite 8...

But getting the overall 1 seed, the pollsters are feeding to Duke's lack of consistant play...There are ALOT of teams that could beat Duke...

But being placed where they are, I don't see any real threats until the FF...maybe the EE if West Va makes a run...

Honestly, when Duke is on their A-Game...I don't see anyone but UConn being able to stop them...

But getting the entire team on their A-Game is a very big accomplishment...

Oh and on the case of UNC, they were just fitting them in where they could make a run for the Elite 8...

I personally would have given UNC the 2 seed...They're hot right now, just like Kansas, somebody is going to have to play a GREAT game to beat them...

BC is an underrated team, but not worthy of any real FF consideration...

Now, keep in mind all of this is debatable, I'm just usually right :cool:

First question, are you LeFromage? Because you are a Duke fan, and you type exactly like him.

Secondly, I agree with that statement. When Uconn is on their A-game, nobody can beat them. Rudy Gay has the potential to be one of the best players in the NBA in a few years, and he will likely be a top 3 pick this year. Also, they have a lot of depth. Josh Boone, Hilton Armstrong and Jeff Adrien are a great trio down low. Marcus Williams, Rashad Anderson and Denham Brown are all great shooters, and Williams is an excellent passer. And Rudy should be a 1st team All American.

The one thing that will keep them from making the finals is themselves. I have watched every game this year, and in about 10 of them, they only play for half the game. I figure for the NCAA's they will be hyped, but they suprised me by basically not caring in the 1st half of the Big East tournament.

To be honest, I'm looking forward to a Duke Uconn part 3.

If anything, Duke has a great chance to redeem their sweet 16 meltdown last year...

Bah, I had Oklahoma going down (yea!!) but also had seaton hall and marquette doing something. I knew bama was better but for some reason i still picked marq. because of wade.

Same with nevada, i had an inkling but i dont know enough about NCAA. I just know who is good, not really why, so besides like 3 games there are no bigger upsets...

But,it's been a f*cking awesome tournament. I caught the NW State/Iowa game yesterday and that was awesome. They didn't show any of the UCONN game, but I probably would've shat myself out of excitement if they would've cut to it when Albany was up 12.

Kansas,I guess the inexeperience of their line-up got to them. Maybe next year for the young talent they have.

I love how Uconn plays some of their worst basketball of the year, and they still manage to win. Next round against Washington will be a tough game. I felt Wash was underrated going in, (that is why I picked them to beat Illinois) and if Uconn plays the way they did today, they will lose. In Calhoun we trust.

Anybody but UCLA; they managed to beat Gonzaga by cheating, and bending the rules. This is very upsetting. Also as a USC fan, its only natural to see UCLA as subhuman.

GMU-Florida preview.

I'll give you a few reasons why we have a decent chance to win, though.

Defense: We play very tenacious defense (9th-ranked FG defense). Our guys are very well-conditioned (which helps overcome our lack of depth).
Balance: All five starters scored in double digits against UConn.
Shooting:They are popping the treys.
Rebounding: They are out-rebounding teams that are bigger than us. Improbably, we're holding our own in the paint.

Most importantly: Those guys BELIEVE and play as a team. Clearly, Michigan State, UNC and UConn had better collections of talented players...but GMU had the better TEAM.

With all that said, a really tough matchup against the Gators, they could win.

I'd giving the Gators a slight edge,it's a toss up if you go either way.

Gators win 74-71

We drew random picks in one of my classes. The kid next to me picked George Mason and offered it to me for Illinois, I laughed... Now, I am the one crying....

That was an amazing bracket. The only way I could think someone would do better is if they picked them at random. George Mason has made a great run, but I think they'll meet their end against Florida. Then, LSU will beat UCLA, and it will be an SEC battle. And to all the SEC haters that thought we were given too many bids, suck it.

Congratulations Florida Gators,On a great season by beating the UCLA Bruins this past Monday for the title.

Three blowout games, two over by halftime. Atrocious Final Four. I bet their ratings for these games are going to be much lower than previous years.Which was the happening.Second lowest ratings in years to count.

Disgustingly bad end to an absolutely fantastic tournament that included quite possibly the most entertaining Sweet 16 ever. LSU vs. Duke was a fun game with the upset dynamic, Texas vs. WVU had a fantastic finish, Memphis vs. Bradley was a beat weak, Zaga vs. UCLA was great, UConn/Washington was incredible, George Mason vs. Wichita was a weak game, but added to a great story, Nova vs. BC was the classic we all had it penned in as, and Georgetown had the national champions trailing with under 1 minute to go.
