Releasing Diablo 3 will take subscribers away from World of Warcraft. They're gonna suck that baby dry first, then release the new crack/diablo 3. That will take years.

And I hate to argue Final Fantasy, but 9 was far better than 8. 8 was unnecessarily complicated. In the end it all boiled down to just "steall 99 of every spell", and you were good. And that bit about all of the characters growing up together, but they forgot? yeah...

There were other lesser evils that didn't appear/die in the game, but were mentioned in the storyline. I believe there were 5, and Andariel and Duriel were some of them. So there is still room to make a storyline, if somehow these "lesser evils" became more powerful. And I don't remeber since I played this game 4-5 years ago, but didn't the world stone become corrupt, allowing demons to enter into the world?

I don't know why so many people think the revolutions controller is going to blow. That controller is going to be the shit! Imagine what you'll be able to do for shooting games with that. Using the sensor on the end of it to aim your gun. Also imagine what you could do with horror games. You could wave the sensor around as a flash light while trying to escape from a creepy basement. Also there's going to be a shell you can get/comes with the system that is like a usual two handed controler that you can use instead of the new one. Nintendo knows what they are doing and IMO it will turn out great.

Microsoft's Xbox is the epitome of American design, a big ass and heavy box that'll crush your spine if it falls on you. With that being said, the system's developers elected to set up their creation with an equally enormous controller, and thus, the fatty was born. Clearly one of the biggest controllers in videogame history as well as one of the most uncomfortable, the fatty is an absolute beast. Its mammoth grips are so thick that numerous people couldn't get their hands around them, and the awkward button placement, the bizarre location of the white and black buttons, further doomed this controller to the bargain bin. For some strange reason it goes about as well with Halo as a burger and fries, but as for just about any other Xbox game (fighters, especially), the fatty is pretty useless.

Personally I like how heavy the Xbox was. When i pick up my Xbox360 I keep thinking its going to split down the middle, because the white part of the 360 is so thin. So im always really paranoid.

Indeed, I was even "out snipered" by a fucking PKM. He was all excited he was 200 yds away and shot me. Grenade launchers are better now, just powerful enough to kill when needed, no so powerful to make spamable. Only use is to drop in an enemy cap and clean it out before you go in.

The second was shite, the story was rubbish,puzzles were easy peasy, they had action music which took away the scare factor and there was a lot of FMV's.

Never played the second but the first did kick ass. In fact it was, the last I heard, the most expensive console game in history to develop. Not to say that makes it a good game, I'm just saying. I miss my dreamcast alot. Virtual tennis and Ready to Rumble alone warrant it's purchase.

And the virtual boy kicked ass in my opinion. Although there were like 5 games I I still enjoyed it.

But back to topic, lets make about 5 types of sonic games that are all side-scrolling with very little to no change in game-play except for addition of a character.

Bad:You almost never use the D-pad and L Button, and you need three hands to hold the whole thing properly.
Good: Using the Z button to accelerate in Extreme-G was very comfortable, and everything else was just fine, especially the C Buttons.

On the more polished RPGs that are coming out it's set up so that anyone, even a casual gamer can complete the main story line, but then there's a lot of extra sidestory and bonus battles that the hardcore gamer can challenge themselves to complete.

I understand how you felt about beating Sephiroth. I had the same expirence with fighting Ozma in FFIX. I got lucky when I died and got da Rebirth flame, died again, and got another Rebirth flame. It felt so good beating that SOB.
