ok, so you're against the war. I am not. What do we do with Iraq that the UN has not tried in the past 12 years? That's all I want to know. BE SPECIFIC. Don't just say negotiations, or sanctions, or whatever. I want reasonable details.(I'm new to the forums, so if this has been done before just ignore it, I guess.)

well, create, that question has been asked before, but it is still a good question. the ant-war protesters can offer no answer besides "more diplomacy." They say "no war" but offer no alternatives.

Since we've already started the war, it's a little late to talk about alternatives. However, there are quite a few people who believe that we should have given the inspections provided for under U.N. Resolution 1441 a resonable chance.

There's a gentleman by the name of Hans Blix who you might want to talk to. Perhaps youve heard of him.

Hanse Blix? You mean the guy who waited more than a week to even report an Iraqi drone modified to spray chemical weapons? The guy that is Sadaam and Chiraq's tool for avoiding war who would never be willing to report something that would start a war?
The guy that has a crew of 120 people and isnt allowed to check Sadaam's palaces and is responsible for thousands of square miles?
Hanse Blix was there to have Iraq say "Here is my anthrax, now watch us destroy it." He did not go to Iraq to be put through hoops and have weapons hidden from him.
Once again, please cite one time where Iraq declared a weapon that was in violation and requested the UN to witness him destroy it.

more inspections? i think we've seen sufficient proof as to how well those work, and how good Saddam is at working around them.....
