I once played this game so much, i found out how to do secret moves that were probably only known by the game designers and then some korean kids somewhere. Even made up names for em, you will of probably seen em happen, but not of known how to do em, and i figured em out! Crazy

Moonwalk - Slide across the level. (Luigi or mario were the bets at it) and you can finish the slide with a smash attack.

Perfect block - press block on time, and send the item back at the thrower.

Thought i knew more, but i guess it all just came natural to me.

Its hard to explain, took me ages to work it all out.

Use the right or left shoulder button at the same time as pressing down to do kind of like a sidestep (ultimate move for dodging attacks). When you do this, spin the analogue stick to the side you want to slide to. So if the analogue stick starts at 6 o'clock, and you want to slife to the left, move to like 8 o clock.

Make sure you press the shoulder button at the same time as moving the analogue.

You have to get the timing right on it, so mess about. Be luigi too. And try to work on a ramp.

Kirby is easy to take out. He can fly back in, but he's slow so you have more than enough time to plan/aim an attack. I just use Falco's head stomp to keep him out.

Gooser, the "moonwalk" is more commonly refered to as the "wavedash" and is a little tricky to pull off, especially one after the other continually.

Basically to pull it off, you first jump into the air. IMMEDIATELY after jumping, ground dodge by pressing L and either right or left, depending on which way you wanna wavedash. If done sucessfully you appear to slide in whatever direction you pressed with a little cloud of smoke behind you.

Different characters can wavedash different lengths, with Luigi being the farthest by a long shot.

The reason why I love SSB so much is because it is one of the few fighting games that will actually get you killed if you button smash. It's one of the few fighting games where your actually better off planning out each move.
