The wretched desert takes its form, the jackal proud and tight
In search of you, I feel my way, through the slowest heaving night
Whatever fear invents, I swear it make no sense
I reach through the border fence
Come down, come talk to me

In the swirling, curling storm of desire unuttered words hold fast
With reptile tongue, the lightning lashes towers built to last
Darkness creeps in like a thief and offers no relief
Why are you shaking like a leaf
Come on, come talk to me

Ah please talk to me
Won't you please talk to me
We can unlock this misery
Come on, come talk to me:bigwink:

Gabriel's great, all the eejits that dismiss him as MOR shite need to listen to Peter Gabriel 3 and Passion.

I haven't heard much of his music, except for Sledgehammer - I had to listen to that since it features Tony Levin :bigwink:.

Why are all of your thread titles enclosed with tildes?

Ploy against conformity?

I reckon you'd enjoy his soundtrack stuff, start with The Passion Of Christ, eerie soundscapes and such...

Peter Gabriel is great. Solsbury Hill is a good song. Peter Gabriel with Genesis is better than his solo stuff though.

I'm not afraid to admit I love the entire "So" album.

I hate how people dismiss him as lame... they just can't understand the amazingness that is PG.

It annoys me the way he's lumped in with the likes of Phil Collins and crap like that, when he's so superior...

I like him, too. I like when they play "Shock The Monkey" on the light-music station at work.

MON-KAY! MON-KAY-EEEE!

:bigwink: Yeah, I was just going to say something about Tony Levin as well. Liquid Tension Experiment FTW.

Sorry, I won't hijack.

Salsbury Hill is nice.

King Crimson rules.
