I got to do a music biography and picked Dr.Dre he is very influential in music. He basically help make Eminem/Snoop Dog famous and he does a lot of production. Anyone got any good songs by him or any old school rap from that time period?

I didn't like the drum sounds on 2001 myself, the production was sort of tame too...

I like his rapping, he's not brilliant, but he has (had?) authority and a style that matches his material, the contrast between him and Snoop is one of the best things about The Chronic.
Another thing that pisses me off about 2001 is the host of substandard guest homies that tend to detract from things rather than emphasise the 'mob' feeling as they did on the original, I mean Devin The fuckin' Dude?

Nothin but a G thang's radio edit is pretty apropriate.
The Chronic was more of an RnB album than gangster rap album anyways.
