I actually like that album more then anything else they've done besides Kill Em All. I think it is pretty good, the title track in particular.

What a sad attempt to cover up the fact that this guy actually likes that album, no?

Without a solo to break it up, its just the same noise for about 5/6 minutes. That is especially true for the title track.

And the snare... :wah:

I agree that there are some pretty killer riffs on that album, but not one complete song that I can say I 'like'.

The shit off St. Anger sounded awesome in concert. The album just wasn't mastered the way everyone wanted to hear it.

The album really did'nt seem to be mastered in any way actually.

I have never even heard it, but if it's Metallica's worst, it must be pretty bad.

"Some Kind Of Monster" was pretty good.

Ditto. I also agree that the album didn't seem to be mastered very well, otherwise, I think it could be ok.

sweet amber, the riff is pretty simple but that's pretty much the only song I listen to on that album.

Frantic actually scares me...and not the song itself but I mean, it transcends genre...I have no clue why but I know people who like all different types of music that like that song...example: I know this chick who's really into hip hop but she loves Frantic...so random...

i actually would like it if the recording quality would be better.... but it just seems like such a rushed album....

Hmmm... that's an interesting viewpoint that I haven't heard before.

I like the Sweet Amber riff, that said, I don't like the album at all.
