Hey All,

Been looking at Ebaum's for a while now, but only just decided to visit these forums and sign up... I am from Australia, and if anybody isn't, does anybody here listen to a radio station called Triple J?

You can listen on the web. www.abc.net.au/triplej

Anyway, that's generally what I listen to. Have a listen and let me know what you [all] think.

Cheers,
-Jimmy

Yeah, I lived in Australia till I was 12 - then I moved to NZ - I'm now almost 18.

I remember Triple J, but I can't really remember what kind of music they played - what was it? I think it's just about the only NSW radio station I can find online.

Hey,

They generally play a lot of alternative. Heaps of new Aussie music etc. It's a great radio station and they have their playlists up on the website so it's always good to look out for new music on.

Heh, I'm just streaming Triple J now. Not only am I liking what I'm hearing, but it's also a wave of Australian nostalgia to me.

Triple J is turning into what Nova FM was for a while. I'm sorry but Triple J used to be way way better than they are now. I mean, No.1 on hottest 100 = Bernard Fanning, what the fuck is that about, they are playing now just what everyone else is playing. I'd like to turn on my radio without hearing Franz Ferdinand or Eskimo Joe, k thnks buy

They have a different streams on their website though; like a trance one, a heavy metal etc.
