The video is staged and more or less scripted, but unless somebody finds where ebaum stole this particular vid from we don't know the context. It certainly isn't chuckle-worthy on its own, but usually only 1 out of 10 vids on this site are.

yeah, ebaums was more fun before i checked it daily, touretts cat isn't funny at all and that office space recut was pretty much the trailer in a different order. But college humor isn't that great.

First of all, if they went through all that trouble to rent the coffee shop, find the people, get a skunk, and coordinate the scene, all to put a free video up for our amusement, then either way the least you could do is watch and enjoy.

Skunks only come out in the day if they're sick (like rabies sick) So that WAS a dangerous situation, if it is indeed real (and I'm inclined to believe it is real). If by real you mean that it was just a guy messing around with his camera, and got the right clip at the right time and that was in no way or another planned, or the whole clip wasn't part of a tv show/movie/etc. then you my friend, are legally blind.

As an aside to this topic, how many here have actually been sprayed by, or been around something or someone who has been sprayed by a skunk? Good Lord in Heaven, it is HORRIBLE!!! I'm sure everyone here has smelled the aftereffects of skunk spray, so you all know what it smells like, right? WRONG. Freshly sprayed skunk (my dog has been hit twice) is 100 TIMES WORSE. Imagine the skunk odor you're familiar with, multiplied by ten, then add to that a SUPER STRONG rotten onion-like scent that makes you gag and makes your eyes water and you're getting there. Both times my dog was sprayed, the smell permeated our entire house (she was sealed in the garage, with access to the outside) and it took WEEKS to go away. Damn bastard skunks. They serve no useful purpose whatsoever. If it wasn't for the fact that I was afraid it would explode like some rotten skunk grenade, I would have shot the damn thing last time it came around (I actually saw it the in backyard the night my dog got hit, just wandering around, shooting its nasty ass spray all over my yard. Fucking shithead).

They are the BEST pets. They are like a cross between cats and dogs, they are loyal and friendly like dogs but more chill like cats. sleep on you all the time, cuddle, we potty trained it. skunks rock.

Despite the scent, I saw it happen, and it was fucking hilarious... he was running ahead on a trail and I see this skunk cross the path behind him... my friend Jeff yells "Dude, look out!" and the fucker back tracks right at the skunk... BOOM. I was dying of laughter until I realized we only took one car... that was a cold, stinky ride home...
