Anyway, that was the hardest freaking check i've ever seen.

I play AA Minor league, and they don't use glass, its a bendable plexiglass/plasitic. The shit is hard to break but its usually shatterproof, it comes off in all one sheet (except for this case) if you just push it hard, and it couldn't cut you unless someone shot it at you from a gun. It looks glass but its a plastic material that dulls off once it does shatter.

I know what you're talking about with the plexiglass/plastic stuff. A rink I used to play at used it. But, the rink in the video uses glass.

Its a special dulling glass, break off into wierd pieces when it shatters. I play at several rinks, some use plexi, and some use that stuff. My friends dad owns an Ice Arena and they use that stuff, They have to replace it all the time but it has a manufacturer guarantee that it will shatter into safe pieces. Both are not very sharp but the stuff in this video is heavier, thicker "glass". It probably choked his neck when it hit him, maybe even broke a bone.

yeah, the glass in the rink my team uses is that "thicker 'glass.'"
