What I want to know is what makes that tunnel so dangerous? Is it really slippery or something? Most of those accidents seem to just come out of nowhere, with no obvious cause like speeding or swerving.

I've always believed America had horrible crashes and driving systems, but I continuosly see Euro systems do ten times more horrible things. I can't understand why?

I'm not saying Euro drivers are bad, but the system Euro drivers have seems like it's not working well.

I mean if you have a show called "World's Worst Drivers" and 95% - 99% were european videos, then wth is going on that is making such a dillema?

sorry for any spelling error.

I saw really nothing but speeding and swerving in that video, except for the bus clip. I kept thinking, why don't these people just slow the fuck down, especially when entering a tunnel.

Most people tend to drive faster in tunnels because there's usually no cops around and you won't run into any pedestrians (literally).

There are so many wrecks in Europe because everyone is filming as they drive hoping to catch a wreck to be on the show. It's a self fulfilling cycle.

sorry for any spelling error. It's better than being 95-99% of police speed chases. :bigwink:

Did you miss the truck that performs mitosis? That shit will cause an accident anywhere.

It's because they're driving on the wrong side of the car. And the road.

That tunnel, from what I've read elsewhere, is in Russia or an eastern europian country and not Britain (It would be closed quick time if that happened that often).. Those camera's are at both entrances of the tunnel and if you watch closely, all crashes seem to stem from literally the same point (Just before the camera view), so my guess is that as the drivers enter the tunnel, there is a slight rise in the road to meet the tunnel entrance to the main road (think of it as a mini tarmac ramp) , that slight rise is causing too much light steering for a few seconds because of their speed..if you've ever gone over a slight rise in a road when your going fast, you will know what I mean about losing total road grip and control, turn the wheel as much as you like, it don't have much effect till the vehicle has full weight back on tarmac, then a lot of people have probably oversteered to correct themselves... and its scarey!
