After spending the past few days reading this forum, I've gotten the impression that most of you are of college age. So, here it is.

If you have taken a pro-war stance and want to support the troops, get to a Marine or Army recruiters office first thing Monday morning. Do it today if possilble. Make sure you ask to go to the Infantry school.

Don't join the Navy or Air Force, you want to be in the Infantry.

When I enlisted, it only took a couple of days and I was at the reception station getting ready to start my training.

So, put your money where your mouth is and get your ass in the shit.

To support the war doesnt mean to want to fight it. People are made different. Some people were made to play sports, others were made to do math problems. Some people are made to fight and others aren't. Just because we support the war doesn't mean we should have to sign up and go over and fight. We have enough brave men and women doing that right now. They dont need us over there right now, they need our support over here. But if there were a draft, and I was drafted, then hell yeah i would go defend my country.

What, with that evil looking icon you weren't born to kill?

Okay, your doing your part, flaming pacifists on Ebaum's World. We're sure to take Bagdad now.

its idiots like you that blow up your own troops at night with grenades.

When you got the whole "college" thing going on, its hard to quit and join a war. I mean there is this whole issue of throwing away $20,000 and living the rest of my life being dumb and sitting around asking others why they dont immediately take to arms. (talking about you, if you didnt get it).

I support the troops and would go if i was needed. But right now
I dont think we need every jim, bob, and joe. Our military is quite ready to handle Iraq without me.
